It's not looking good for David and that resveratrol thing was pretty much a disgrace.

His work on NAD, while a little off target, has contributed to science. So I can't completely discard him. I have been complaining about Resveratrol and NAD precurors for years, though. NAD precursors, while certainly useful for a narrow subset of individuals, it could be adding fuel to a metabolic fire, unless you fix the salvage pathways at the same time. Most metabolic disorder is an unbalanced NADh to NAD+ ratio. Excessive NADh, not lack of NAD+ If adding more NAD+ to the body rapidly converts to NADh, you could cause issues.

How to get rich: 1. establish credentials (though lately, if your credentials mention Harvard, you might wanna rethink it) 2. make bold claims of miraculous benefits 3. sell substance that provides those miraculous benefits. 4. Repeat ad nauseum. This shit has been going on for as long as there have been. people. Wanna live a long and healthy life? Eat real food, limit exposure to toxins, exercise, manage stress. If you are too lazy, addicted or stupid to do that, then yeah, try snake oil. Why not?

5. get into Ivey League and turn it into a mask for marketing. US has the best university money can buy.

The only mistake Sinclair made was to share his information with the world. If he had kept it secret and then produced his new treatment on the market, GSK would have bought it up too. They did their own research on Resveratrol before spending 720 million. They just didn't realize that you can't patent a naturally occurring molecule. The number of lives that have benefited from Sinclair's NMN protocol are reaching staggering numbers. My dad is one of those people. His Alzheimer's symptoms are slowly being reversed in ways his doctors have never seen before. It is obvious that a lot of information was left out of this video. I can only wonder why. As for Dr. Stanfield, he acts like a spiteful 12 year old and it's really easy to see that fact. Maybe if you took NMN you could learn to be more truthful.

Well said. Happy for your dad. Big pharma really sucks. They "debunk" anything and everything that they know they cannot make a dime from, and worse, anything and everything that actually HEALS people. They are NOT in the business of healing - only long term drug sales.

Longevity is one of most complicated issues bothered human for over 2000 years. A simple NMN may help you a little bit as your case but won't do much for longevity. Before, snake oil scammer was mainly focused on the queens and kings. Nowdays, they started on massive scale for more profits. Any one who claims that he has a magic product to extend your life, he must be a liar. Sinclare certainly is a questionable person for sure. If he does it for pure science, maybe he is lacking knowledge and solid training due to his immigrant history. However, he goes after money. He did it for himself. Then, we do need to look at him and his "work" very carefully.

Why not ask other longevity expert's opinion on his claims ..to further establish the stability & authenticity of the claims ...

So many of the commenters should consider the fact that wanting something to be true does not make it true. One thing is for sure, David Sinclair is promoting molecules before their efficacy has been properly evaluated. There are so many things a person can do--you know what these are---to improve their health and possibly increase their health span without consuming these molecules.

The question is who is financing your video . Yes Suncksir reversed his position on supplement NMN BUT are you motives dor the Sinckair attack from big pharma ?

Well, this video is interesting, but it would have been more convincing if you had given Dr Sinclair the opportunity to respond, which you didn't. Seems to be more of a hit piece. I can understand why. Playing the devil's advocate, it is easy to see how his research could have made others claims look false.

Much of the same info in Brad Stanfields video regarding David Sinclair's $720M train wreck. If people are surprised Sinclair wouldn't walk back everything he's ever said on resveratrol, the reason is pretty clear: the day he admits it's worthless is the day there will be loud cries for him to give the $720M back to GSK (or his portion of it). Nothing less would be ethical. And he does not want to do that. So he will continue talking up the resveratrol dud knowing better about it (unethical, just like the de-aging dogs company).

Interesting. Sinclair was had from the first to promote resveratrol, but I've found him increasingly less credible over time. I think the last interview I heard with him, he said he was moving to a plant based diet. He said his kids influenced him to stop eating meat.

What I have heard him say is he still eats meat, just not highly processed.

I use resveratrol and NMN for 7 years. I am in my late 50s. My health improved and most of my frequent muscle pains are reduced after I started on this routine. I also lift weights and used to have heart pain after exercises on a weekly basis that was scaring me. All these symptoms were gone after 3-4 first months. I suspect this recording is produced to silence competition since my health improvements do not fit placebo effect. Personally, I think someone is very jealous of someone else making money.
