David Tennant rips into Kemi Badenoch over gender ideology and trans kids

David Tennant received an LGBT award for "Celebrity Trans Ally" for standing up for women like me. He used the event to push gender ideology and said he wished Kemi Badenoch, the only black woman in the Cabinet, didn't exist and wished she’d shut up.
And the crowd of luvvies watching cheered.
But gender ideology has been revealed to be flawed and dangerous. The Cass Review, Tavistock scandal and WPATH leaks show that transitioning kids isn't "protecting" them, it's often harming them.
With gender ideology sinking, why is David clinging on so hard to the wreckage? Well, his kid is trans. For David, gender ideology HAS to be right - otherwise he's made a terrible mistake. And he's not the only celeb in the same situation - pretty much everyone in Hollywood now has a trans kid (some have 3!).
Gender ideology will be making a comeback soon. Labour have pledged to teach gender ideology to kids in schools, institute self ID that allows anyone to be legally recognised as whatever gender they want without convincing a doctor, and introduce a ban on therapy that may dissuade children from transitioning.
It's going to be an absolute clown show.

The issue is that it does affect other people. We are a tolerant society but trans people's rights can not override the right of women to have privacy and safety in same sex spaces. That's exactly what's happening. It is a form of abuse. My (daughter) has isolated herself from the family, and wants to undergo the operations. She's advised to "stonewall " (i.e just not open up say anything, think about things) anyone who questions. She's supported in this by her mother and lots of people at school / around her. Social services / police also support changing your name and the idealogy generally. It beggars belief!

Tennant's acceptance speech is interesting to watch. He's clearly very nervous about saying something which could be misconstrued and hops clumsily from one meaningless topic to another. Thanking his wife for teaching him what empathy means...really, you're an actor, and actors rely on empathy to be able to get into the minds of the characters they inhabit. Many men, including transidentifying males, are perfectly decent sorts but some are not, leaving women looking over their shoulders and restricting their own freedom always for fear of attack. Ministry of Justice stats: transidentifying males in prison have more than TWICE the rate of conviction for sex offences compared to other male prisoners. Every female survivor of male violence and/or sexual assault is always triggered by the presence of males. Both are a way for young people to exercise control over their lives and they’ve latched on to one faucet to control (weight/gender) and demonized it as wrong regardless of the objective truth that there’s nothing wrong with their body and they are actually causing harm to their body. Also there’s the media influence. Millennials and older will remember being overwhelmed with messages about weight and being skinny, but the push in body acceptance has lessened those messages and the surge in trans ideology has started pushing trans messaging.

Notice how the people promoting teaching empathy also want total control over where that empathy gets directed? What happened to loving who you want and not being forced to pretend to love those you don't aka living a lie? I wasn't aware there were degrees to that slogan i.e. we can't force you to love who you don't, but we can force to to like those you don't like or be interested in subjects you aren't interested in. Seems like micromanaging other people's feelings is what stalkers try to do when facing unrequited love. P.S. Seems like the world was a much nicer and kinder place when people had to work to develop depth, interest, charm, wit and conversation to be included, and you couldn't just shame and bully other people into pretending to like you when you are behaving in a thoroughly boorish manner. I've noticed that being transgender, when looked at as a medical condition, is never alone or idiopathic. There's always some other underlying issue, dealing with puberty being the most benign one. Then there's things like past abuse and autism. A lot of the time makes dysphoria seem more like a symptom of something else. Of course, it's hard to tell if it really is, because in recent time cases such as autism, depression, anorexia and a multitude of other condition have become a lot more prevalent in society. And the second layer of difficulty that requires research is whether if these conditions, dysphoria included, have become so much more widespread because they're actually increasing in occurrence or is it possible that they've always been high but remained unseen in the past. And the worst case of all, whether if they're just trends because in recent times people have really taken a liking to having issues and being a minority or a victim. All of the modern conditions and illnesses that are hard to see with the naked eye and to diagnose (because methods are imperfect or research is incomplete) have become easy targets for "adoption"

Transitioning has become the new fad. Just looking at the "take up" for this new and trendy thing proves it. There Ar numerous stories of one child declaring they're trans in the school yard, only to have dozens do so a few weeks later as word spreads. However, unlike flares, puff-ball skirts and Mullets, this is a life-changing fad, one there is no returning from once you've grown up a bit and realised you made a big mistake. We can look back at ourselves for some of the terrible fashions we followed etc and laugh. That can't be done with transitioning. Those who encourage their children to go through life changing procedures as part of being a "progressive" parent should be arrested for child abuse. When I was 11 years old,I had no freaking idea what sex or sexuality was. kids today are having all this rammed down their throats and aren't allowed to simply be kids anymore. It's so sad and so wrong.
