Rolls Noyce at Farleigh, absolutely wonderful, fortunately got to watch Graham at his prime, more natural talent than any other racer I have ever seen, so smooth and his speed so deceptive . So good to see him twisting the throttle.

All eyes on Malherbes bike would have loved to see Thorpe with the AXO boots and uniform from that era.

The bark off the CR exhaust….you can tell it’s a factory weapon.

Ça fait du bien d’entendre le bruit des moteurs deux temps, c’était de la bécane à l’époque et des pilotes couillus.

You know he's Don as he wears no boots 😮

Jean Michel Bayle would lap David Thorpe even when Thorpe was world champ. They'd go to Canada and Bayle would use the Canadian race as a warm up for the American SuperX series...Bayle even lapped the filed with a rear flat tyre. David Thorpe...over-rated in my opinion
@andreroodt464717 күн бұрын
Yep, Thorpe only won 3 500cc world championships. What an underachiever.
@steveallen64817 күн бұрын
@@andreroodt4647 He had NO competition + He had the best bike at the time and the best team but when he rode in Canada against Bayle he was shown up to be ordinary. Kind of laughable that Bayle would lap a three times world champion and even do so once with a flat back tyre...Yeah Thorpe was such an amazing rider....***Yawn***

@@steveallen648 No competition? How old are you mate? He rode the toughest era in the sport and beat guys like Eric Geboers, Andre Malherbe, Hakan Carlqvist, Georges Jobe, and many others. He is in fact, a lot better in my opinion than his three World titles. And a nicer guy you couldn't meet. So Steve Allen, you are so wrong with your comments.

i wasnt there, but id imagine if bayle wasnt in the points.. thorpe would have been a happy 2nd playing it safe miles from home looking for the title... but..Bayle was seriously good especially in supercross.. i thought he might possibly be the first world champ in 2 bike genres when he went road racing but it wasnt to be... enjoyed both their careers.. much better then its all ski jump mx now
