I love racing next to the trees! lol…I remember racing at Sand Hill in CA and sometimes the track was right up next to barb wire fencing! That was actually kinda scary, but hey - it was the 80’s!

Great video, I watch every year from the US. Not to bad mouth anybody, but if they got ride of the parc ferme/promenade line up to the gate, and moved the starting line to outside of the track, everybody could get another lap added to their races.

Best class ever LIKE WHO WOULDNT PAY TO WATCH THIS IN TODAYS WORLD WITH THE RIDERS NOW ? Imagine if Jeff award or Jean-Michel Bayle had go pros - imagine if this track had more jumps? This is the pinnacle of racing and the AMA and Yamaha fucked it all up. I’ll never pay to watch AMA on this fact alone BUT WAKE UP AND BRING THEM BACK - More affordable and look at these guys even on this track barley holding on You can KZbin Jett and Hunter Lawrence ride one and they were shutting bricks.

They don’t seem to be going that fast and then they sail by on the straight jetting fist sized rocks at your face. That’s how I remember them. In the old days we had straights long enough to get them into top gear for a while, and then your 125 would be dropped like it was sitting still while tapped out in 6th. You could get back by them in the tighter sections, but then the next long straight, here comes the shower of rocks and clay. From behind them there would be exhaust blasts hitting you in different spots in a circular pattern as they idled. Bringing them back would be the best thing for the sport. When the 4 stroke era started, cost went way up, and now people are priced out of the sport. Bring them back, and go back to natural terrain tracks.

Pretty cool but someone needs a lesson on building tracks. No berms and we need them especially in the big bikes so they can come in fast and hit the gas. Flat turns are to slippery. Some places on the track were to narrow. The thing about this is there is more than enough land to get dirt from and widen the track and it’s much safer in the riders and runner to ride
