I love this man, and am so sorry that he was not more appreciated in the film world. I find that funny that he actually approved of Dick Van Dyke's "cockney" accent. Since I grew up with the film, and didn't hear a genuine cockney accent until years later, I never questioned it. Nowadays, I still love the accent, even if it is not accurate; its Van Dyke's performance as a whole that stands out more. His talk with the children after their scare at the bank always makes me cry, especially after I became a father myself.

Dear old David Tomlinson. I grew up seeing him at the cinema in Disney films. His son is now a Crown Court Judge and is every bit as charming as his father.

Holy moly that's a very young Sir Ian Mckellen as well! So much talent in one interview!

And I just realized that McKellen acting style owes something to John Gielgud's.
