Tai Chi Push Hands is an important part of Tai Chi practice. It helps students get a deeper understanding of the 8 Tai Chi Principles & 5 Footwork. It also upgrades one's self-defense skills in Tai Chi movements.
Exercises
1. 腕 花 Wan Hua - 'Reeling Flowers' : single & double hands
2. 定 步 Ding Bu - 'Fixed Step' : double hands, fixed step 'peng, lu, ji, an'
3. 顺 步 Shun Bu - 'Flowing Step' : double hands, moving step
4. 大 捋 Da Lv - 'Big Roll Back' : double hands, single moving step. low stance
5. 活 步 (乱 踩 花) Huo Bu (Luan Cai Hua) - 'Plucking Flowers' : double hands, free stepping
