Great video with details and useful information. I watched your video and based upon your comments we purchased the same model. We have used it for over 20,000 miles and a trip to Alaska pulling a fifthwheel. Works great! Thank you.

David - Thank you for the detailed and entertaining video. Extremely helpful. Once I determined my axle weight after 3 different attempts, I was able to use the weight chart to determine proper PSI and now I feel more confident using my TPMS.

Great video! I installed my system by myself (single gal, Class A Owner), but was feeling guilty because I realized I FORGOT the locknuts...but then kinda felt it wasn't needed, and I appreciated your comments, and laughed when you tossed the bag aside. Hahaha! Thanks again for your help!

HA! Yeah, I have never lost one and we have been traveling from 2008. Now watch tomorrow I will be missing all of them. :) But it all reality, the tool needed to get them on and off with the spinning covers would not even fit inside my front wheels as they are set slightly inside.

Thank you so much for your video, we are new to using a TPMS and we just received this very unit. The instruction booklet was not helpful, my husband and I were having a difficult time setting it up. I found your video and step by step you walked us thru the process. We got the TPMS set up quickly, and it's working perfectly. Thank You so much.

Tires on Tiffin reach five years next month. So was just checking with Coach Net this AM about prices. Have known about TMPS for some time now but hadn't gotten them. Thanks for the reminder they are now on order. Love the way you mounted this unit on the side window.

We've had the EezTire monitor for over 5 years now and highly recommend it. We have all six RV tires monitored and the four towed car tires. I did have to buy the signal booster after I added a motorcycle carrier on the back of the RV in order to stop the signal dropout from the car. All we've done is change sensor batteries now and then, and the batteries are very easy to change and available on Amazon very cheaply.
@DavidBott3 жыл бұрын
Joe...You are very correct on the batteries! I replace them once a year before we leave just because, as you mentioned, they are so cheap. So why not!?!?!? Glad you have a TPMS!

Good video David! I have been using my EEZ for three years and have recommended an tpms to many other rvers. I pull a fifth wheel and found it to be very valuable the first trip that I took with the EEZ installed. I picked up a screw in a trailer tire and it alerted me to a drop in pressure before it became dangerous. I did notice though that your new model re-acquired the signal much faster after installing the sensors than my current one. It may be time to upgrade my old one. Thanks for the review.

too funny Dave.. after you and I got to talking (on your trip) i ordered the model your holding your hands. Its already installed on the truck and as soon as I get the RV back from Tiffin I will get everything dialed in. While it is great to have TPMS on my Ford Raptor its nice to actively see the temps/pressure on my truck. Its another tool that makes life a little safer

@tschleff3 жыл бұрын
Great Video Dave. Like yourself we have an EEZ TPMS and have had it for probably 8+ years. First with our travel trailer and now with the Tiffin. No issues at all. Last summer as we were in South Dakota the alarm went off .. we had a valve stem leak on the inside drive axle tire. If we hadn't had the TPMS we would have never known we had leak and this could have been a real dangerous situation. I highly recommend a TPMS and the EEZ product. I do have one question ... I have the old monitor. And have heard the the new color monitor is nice, but in the direct sun light is impossible to read. What is your thoughts?

Great video even with the ooops! Lot of new RVers will be grateful to have this. It might be a good tag along video of how to determine the "correct" pressure for RV/TT tires. I see too many posts that are using the tire rating pressure or the "door sticker".

When the tire may need more air pressure do you need to take them off then re-install after adding more air? Thanks David!
@DavidBott3 жыл бұрын
Hi Larry...The sensors are just like valve stem covers. So you just unscrew them, add or remove air, and put them back on to get the current readings.

How do you recalibrate the sensors to the right pressure ?
@DavidBott2 жыл бұрын
You don't "recalibrate the sensors", you set the monitor to alert on the pressure being sent from the sensor. You do this by holding down the SET button and then going through the settings.
@acmanwwjd12 жыл бұрын
You press the link and code key the same time then it will bring up a screen and you’ll see three zeros and whatever is over there on the other side you have one through nine to choose mine was off 4 pounds all tires are off 4 pounds I moved mine up to 400 now mine‘s right on the money

This was a fantastic video. Very clear and excellent commentary with details. Is it possible to place the #1 sensor for the driver side front instead of the passenger side front? I think of the placement like aircraft engines, the #1 engine is always the pilot side; so in case of an emergency I don't have to re-thin the RV sensor placement in a hurry.
@DavidBott3 жыл бұрын
The numbers are just for your reference when placing the sensors so you remember where you programmed each one to go.

Hello David, great video as always. I wanted to replace my TPMS from same company, but I guess all I wanted was the color screen that I think it will be easier to see. Since you mentioned it works the same way, I'll just keep it for now. Also, how are you doing health wise? I know you mentioned in one of your videos you were having some prostate issues. I hope all is good my friend. Take care and keep those videos coming.

The only thing I hate with the color version of this tps is that it keeps flashing at me. The screen gets 100 % bright then dims, then bright, then dim and so on and so on! I contacted the company and they had no response for me. I wanted it to just be bright!
@DavidBott Жыл бұрын
It sounds like that in the location that you have it that it is sensing light change and therefore changing the bright to dark bright to dark based on the lighting conditions. It does this because if you use it at night it'll be very bright, so it dims when it's darker. But on the front of the unit there's a little hole that has the light sensor. That's the area you want to keep some type of bright light situation happening if you want to stay bright all the time. If it keeps going back and forth back and forth and you're not even moving or anything then it sounds like the sensor is poor or in a bad location in the unit itself. I'm kind of surprised to hear that you didn't get any help from the company. Donald's the owner.

Hi Lankster...Not sure if you had an EEZTire or not, as I am sure they would have helped you out if you were having issues. So not sure what unit you may have had. But having one is surely better than NOT having one. We have not had issues with EEZTire on our coach or our tow car, or now trailer, and it has saved us a few times.
@lanksterprice3 жыл бұрын
@@DavidBott Had the "EEZTire-TPMS10B Real Time/24x7 Tire Pressure Monitoring System - 10 Anti-Theft Sensors + Booster, incl. " Drove over 500 miles and it would never gave me the right pressure in the tires on my 22.5 tires.. had stopped to recheck them and had a low tire.. in short I think there was something wrong with the one I had as that was one problem I recall having.. three of the tires would never tell me anything even after changing the battery's a few times. Just got to the point in short it drove me nuts so it had to go.. The Alarm at strange times would go off.. I would pull over and check the tires and check the pressure all good... You know after a few times of that you turn it off and stop using it.. That trust was broken in short.. So David I know it works have lots of friends like you in the RV world as we are full timing it... I just check my tire each time I leave and at each stop... Yep it takes a little more time but I have the peace of mind knowing I did it..
