Join David Lama from advanced basecamp to summit on his successful solo push for the first ascent of Lunag Ri, a previously unclimbed peak of 6.907meters on the borderline between Nepal and Tibet. On 23 October 2018 the Austrian with Nepali heritage set out carrying a POV camera and was followed by a drone navigated from advanced BC.
Check out the documentary "David Lama & Conrad Anker walk the line“ on the dramatic happenings during the 2015 & 2016 attempts on Lunag Ri: • Lunag Ri - David Lama ...

@@reklov827 But that still has nothing to do with why he climbs. He wasn't given a redbull sponsorship at 3 and told to start climbing. The fact that someone else edits his videos and having sponsors doesnt change the fact that he climbs mountains because he loves it, not becuase its a commercial venture. The cold, the struggle, the altitude, the techniques have its toll on body and mind. You cannot rejoice the moment to the fullest at mountain tops of such extent, since one has in mind they have to go down, safely. The pure bliss of mountaineering is in challenging oneself in each summit and the determination continue doing it over the years.
