As far as I'm concerned, the only thing you need to pass the PMP is David McLachlan's KZbin channel. Not an exaggeration. Better than every other prep course/app/resource/practice tests I came across was Mr. McLachlan's walkthroughs of sample test questions. I cannot overstate how useful they are to THINKING your way through the PMP exam rather than trying to focus on recalling a bunch of memorized facts. Thank you for providing essential context to so many core concepts.

The Andrew Ramadayl book - PMP Exam Prep Simplified is indispensable and he breaks down the ECO in a really easy to understand way. That said, I could not have passed without watching your 200 Agile questions David. Just passed the PMP two weeks ago. I found that think of every question from a Servant Leader perspective really helped. The test didn't feel hard, so I thought I was bombing. I got to the end with 20 questions and 10 mins left. I knew I wouldn't make it, so I only read the final question of each one then picked the answer that made the most sense. I ended up passing with TTAT. I've watched your videos multiple times (even playing while I was sleep) over the last year.

Good luck. You can do it! It's a lot to remember. Try and "chunk it up" into larger buckets or general rules if you can - like servant leadership, Incremental vs Predictive, the PM Process (Requirements, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality etc). Then for your exam, use the "Elimination" technique - remove answers that don't match the question, and choose the "most correct" answer. Keep going. I believe in you!

Hi David, I have been following you for a whil, I need your thought about this question, During a project, the project manager finds an opportunity to reduce the project cost by completing a deliverable ahead of schedule with a minimal impact on project resources. However, the client has only been focused on the next milestone. How should the project manager approach this situation? A. Apply additional resources to realize the early deliverable and ensure the next milestone is achieved. B. Focus on the deliverable of the next project milestone as per the client's strict instructions. C. Review the change management plan to discuss early benefits realization with the client. D. Evaluate whether the client's request will add extra features to the project deliverable.

I had it in just 4 days. Purchase prep questions, which PMI sells. Solve them all. For incorrect answers, write all of them and the logic behind the correct answers. Record your voice and listen to it when you sleep. Finish these around 500 questions (15x15 mini exam + 175x2 Mock Exam), then jump into the exam and have your certificate.

My issue with the ECO is that the actual content/information about each task is scattered (mostly) across the PMBOK, Agile, and Process guides, not to mention the PMI prep slides. How do you deep dive into each of these tasks? I would LOVE to find the ECO Tasks pointing to specific pages of the 3 books. I would actually pay money for this. I would also love to see mock exam questions tracing back to these. David, if I may make a suggestion, how about a PMP questions video with a question for each of these tasks? Thank you so much! Love your videos.

There are so many but it is important to me that it is one that will make it easy to follow PMI's project management style. You have a lot of videos regarding Microsoft excel templates etc. Should I keep it simple like that or would I benefit from a different tool such as ASANA, Monday, Clickup etc.

I am studying to understand, the questions make you think and they transform the questions to trick you, my job is not rushing us now to get it, no pressure they said. You have to study and use resources outside of the PMI resources, I am in a boot camp now and people I know thought they were ready, well they failed twice, no thanks. Even the instructors say take a deeper dive and don’t memorize, they give us clues and hints
