The PMBOK is for reference only. You need to be familiar with it but the PMBOK alone is not going to get you to the finish line. You need an understanding of the process groups and knowledge areas and the work that happens inside of them.

I am a little confused - Don't you have to take the course before you apply for the exam? I am using his course as the 35 contact hours required on the exam application. Not everyone has to take the course, I had 35 hours of training from my work. If you listen again I did everything with in one month …register for exam, study the course, and then give exam. Don’t think too much, just register for the exam.

Are you already working in a Project Management job? Did you know some of the concepts beforehand which helped you in understanding the content faster? Asking because I partially support the Project Management teams and not aware of a lot of the concepts and would like to take up the PMP exam. So a whole lot of content is very new to me
