This is the episode that brought almost all of the quotables to the opening.

Shands really good read. No slight to my brother. He's a good dude it seems...Definitely comfortable, which is a blessing to say the least. My words to him...whatever you give energy too, takes life. If your biz is going to grow, get comfortable -uncomfortable.

My man definitely wants to get out of his job but that guaranteed job bag may be too tempting for him to quit.

This was definitely a wake-up call for him. First off, you can make another baby in 60 seconds 🤣. Secondly, Dave just laid out your next 3 years. You're living the average American dream, and nothing is wrong with that.

This was funny to watch. I can bet with my liver, he won't quit, not in 2024, not in 2030.

He asked whether he intentionally makes himself uncomfortable to grow as an entrepreneur. From experience, I don’t think that’s necessarily the answer. I believe that when you understand your purpose to be greater than what you are currently doing, things will be made uncomfortable FOR you. There will be layoffs, they gone start tripping on the job, parents might get sick or involvement with you kids will become more demanding and you have to ask your JOB for permission to be present. There’s no incentive nor consequence for pouring into your business, AND there’s no passion or purpose behind his motivation for having the business in the first place. It just sounds like something to do that happens to make him money.

It's from the DISC assessment - they have some online. Stands for Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness. People typically fall into 1 of the 4 major categories then lightly mix into 1 or 2 others.
