Useless Nigerian government very indifferent to Health and Safety of its people. You can see that even at the seat of power where decisions are made, they don’t care for the people. You might be wondering what am I talking about? It’s the dangerous way those roadsweepers were sweeping the road with their backs to the traffic and were not even wearing high visible reflective jackets! It just speaks volume how our lives are unvalued in the country. What could have been done better? 1. Traffic cones to block the outer lanes they were sweeping. 2. Wear appropriate apparel and definitely not back oncoming traffic. 3. In an idle situation human beings shouldn’t be sweeping busy roads like this. It should be sweeping vehicles.
