@@br41nspitt In Australia, foxes are an invasive species and have to be killed. If the wrong animal gets caught, it can be released.

thanks roadrunners! I caught that nasty fox that was prowling around my farm with it! I like that I doesn't kill it, it just traps it. I carried the fox to a nearby field and it never messed with the chickens again.

Sweet trap. I can’t shoot in town and I reckon the mesh dog traps maybe put them off somewhat, as they seem to be not keen on going in. Going to make one of these though thanks for the vid.

Well done, you did a good job from start to finish. I'm surprised yon fox didn't bite through the wire, maybe because it's a cub it didn't do it. My hen pen got raided last year and the fox tore through the chicken wire on the door to get in. It killed 3 and took one so I set a snare in the hole it had made and he was in it next morning. It wouldn't be so bad if they just took what they need to survive but they always seem to go bezerk and kill everything that moves near them. Good luck mate and keep moiderin them varmints!

+Paul G It was just some really heavy gauge stuff I had lying around. Though you could use a multitude of things though, even a long nail or what ever would work.

Hi Thank You im building one tomorrow to catch wild cats peeing in my yard. then take them to the dog pound.i like your idea with the round poles for the door, i was going to do the same but use pvc instead, so the door doesn't get stuck. i think i will do it your way instead. looks better built !
