Once you know how much to shim, put the same amount of shims behind the bearing, much easier to install the diff, especially if there are a couple of shims on one side ;-)

that's awesome how the pin goes in thru the diff case, soooooo much easier than trying to go into the top with needle nose. I wish all of them were this easy

Usually I always keep the shimming a bit tighter on the truggy!

Do you apply grease on ring and pinion?

Once I have everything installed in my gearbox I just apply some copper grease from the bottom before I put the front/rear end back on the chassi!👍

Don't know what he uses but I have recently found that NSK bearings are great! They are expensive and there isn't a kit made i don't think, also nmb are great and you can get them 1 dollar a piece on ebay right now.

What kind of glue do you use for diff cup?

I think like silicone glue not fast glue because when you want to maintence it will hard to open..silicone glue is more flexible
