Thanks for showing our country's beauty! Berat is 2500 years old. Some of the houses may have Ottoman architecture but our city existed long before ottomans arrived from Mongolia in Europe! It is called the "city of 1 over 1 windows"

Great video David. Just one correction, the guy said it wrong about Berat, it is not "1000 windows" it is "on window over the other" because where one house ends start the other on top. That is a misunderstanding in the albanian language because the real one is "qyteti i nje mbi nje dritareve - the city of one over the one windows" and not "qyteti i nje mije dritareve - the city of 1000 windows"

Your guide is a bit wrong... hahaha That one is the 2nd longest tunnel in Albania and it is 2.5 kilometers long And the longest one is in north Kalimashi Tunnel that is 5.5 kilometers long

I hope the baby cows and goats get the milk before they take it from the mother to make cheese for people. In commercial farming in the U.S. they separate the babies from the mother and it is heart wrenching for both!
