Your story of growing up watching cooking shows and learning to make meals for yourself just hit home with me that's how I grew up I spent a lot of time by myself growing up because my mom was a working single mom and times were tough. So playing around with foods we actually had at home to make something comforting and satisfying was a great escape for me. Even now creating a dish and cooking is a way of like meditation for me.

Last summer I went to my Korean language camp (because I live in the midwest, they don't teach many asian languages anywhere), and we would eat this everyday for the 2 weeks I was there.
