DaVinci Resolve 19⎜Remove Backgrounds and add new ones⎜No Green Screen Needed

Tried both of these on my 8 year old PC. The depth map one took 7 minutes to render a 1 minute clip in Faster mode, looked ok but missed some parts on edges. The Magic Mask too about 6-7 minutes to track but rendering was nearly instant and looked better. Great tutorial. Thanks.

The depth map is also a Studio version only feature and not just the magic mask! Great video, congratulations!

I see you are using the STUDIO version. Does this Depth Map method work in the FREE version also?

No my friend, it is only available for the studio version... but there are websites that create the depth map for you for free but unfortunately I have never found one for video, only for photos, images.

No studio only but a god reason to invest in the studio version

There are still artifacts around the edge and some Moments where the mask cuts into the hairline, so you should focus on doing this properly.

You need to use the better option to make it look better. In my opinion the magic make is doing a better job.
