*CORRECTIONS and FAQs* What PROGRAM do I use to edit? // What PROGRAM is this? - DaVinci Resolve Is DaVinci Resolve (the editing program) free? -Yes you get it from the Blackmagic Design Website for FREE and everything I show is in the Free version unless mentioned otherwise. www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/ Where can I get the clip you used? - I cannot distribute the clip on KZbin, if you have any editing questions you can join the Discord in the description. 27:35 - It is actually not using AI in order to interpolate the frames but a vector based calculation. Thank you r/JustCropIt for the correction. 44:08 I forgot to add the " - " in front of "scale" in the expression, that is why at the end I had to adjust the shake so it didn't jump weirdly, if you have the subtraction sign, you wouldn't have to fix it.

This is a very good tutorial, and made da vinci a lot less intimidating. I thank you for that! Although, I must be missing something. Around the 15:26 mark, you begin to pivot your zooms within the ' Transform_1' node on the final keyframe. When you play your video after adjusting the spline, it plays beautifully! However, I ran into a problem. My 'second' transform will work just fine with a simple 'zoom in' effect! But once I begin adding in the pivot points on my final keyframe, it throws off everything ( by making the final footage slide off to the side weirdly). I've rewatched this section numerous times, and matched what you had on screen, but something about the pivot points are not clear to me. Once I re-set the pivot points back to 0.5, the screen does not slide anymore and the basic zoom in works as intended. However, I want that more precise zoom-in in order to practice. So what could be causing this weird slide ? In my attempt to figure it out on my own, I marked the red diamonds beside the pivot points to set them on the keyframes as well, and that seemed to hold everything in place correctly throughout the entire footage. However, that messed up the spline and made the chart look lot more jagged and complicated when I pulled it up. so I deleted that since my experiment obviously wasn't the right way to go about it either. I'm at a loss haha.
@PeeJ_ENT2 ай бұрын
Possibly you may have keyframed the pivot multiple times creating a slide on accident or possibly putting the pivot point value to a value too high may make it the footage slide over when doing a zoom, the best way to figure this out would be joining and asking in the Discord where someone may be able to help (or ping me), we can address the problem easier their through sending screenshots, hope this helps

7:25 I didn't really get why are we doing this? Like duplicating and making them compound clips? pl help me if anyone knows...
@PeeJ_ENT5 ай бұрын
@@ayushraut2005 yes so we are making compound clips to house our cut footage in its own timeline space for later on when we manipulate the timing of the clip and/or “Twix” (create extra frames with slow motion), I am duplicating the clip and freezing it so the compound clip will extend further to fill all the gaps in our main timeline (a little unnecessary but it just also shows new people the controls on how to freeze and reverse clips in general)

wanted to learn simple amv. bro started with editing grammar , then on key frames and splines mastery, then on on technicalities of Japanese animation and AI superslomo, then thought how to make custom optical effects. Then after that taught simple animcurve programming for shakes then color grading then i passed out. but how understood the whole thing need to get a degree. in the middle of the Vid i went and watched the 8 shake video and did my internship.
