@@michaelstark8720 I can’t find any past rules stating the Gk position as you explained. As long as he’s inside his own half that’s all that counts. Rule is clear even after 1990’s amendment, to stay onside an attacker must be at least level with second to last defenders on the moment the ball is touched/passed by the attacker’s teammate. When Asanovic sends the long pass (the moment his feet touches the ball), Suker is between a Danish DF and GK. GK inside/outside the box doesn’t matter. You seem very persistent about this. I hope you can give us link to the past rules (90s rules). This is not an attack I’m just really curious.

at the moment the pass is made, the two defenders are on the second dark stripe of grass from the halfway line. Suker is nearly on the third, so clearly 2-3 yards offside. linesman wasn't in a good position, so missed it.
