yes,I have seen shopping carts similar to these in the UK and it is normal practice now to have the self scanners

The cart also wouldn’t be as good for people that use it in place as a walker while their shopping. They’re gonna have to navigate moving around those baskets and bend down to be able to put stuff on the bottom ones.

Students who are complaining that they are being assigned this for school...please watch this CRITICALLY. This is not a video about how to design things but rather an example of the California Ideology-a way of thinking popularized 20 years ago that has caused a lot of the problems facing us now. The process of "design thinking" that it is describing isn't all bad/or all good. Rather it is your job to think about whether or not it is the BEST WAY to go about designing things. What does it mean to glean ideas from a Harvard MBA and a Biology Major (both white able-bodied young men) instead of professional designers or literally anybody else???? What are the values being expressed here?
