Amazing point, subscribed….. back in those days dawah was different and now they are hooked on virginity, men’s desires, secret marriages and nothing else. There seems to be nothing else to talk about. I fear for my teenage daughters on how they will view Islam through social media. We know sadly social media has a massive way of shaping kids now

@Abz637 Absolutely agree with you. The very same issues they push with regards to marriage, sex, virginity, divorce, etc was completely non-existent in the 90s dawah. In those days it was actually about Islam and trying to reform bad practices in society whereas now islam is being misquoted to make these bad practices acceptable

@addisachannel169 I have seen untold number of this going on in the last 15 - 20 years and it gets worse and worse because people have access to Quran, Hadith and random fiqh because of smart phones and they've found ways of twisting Islam to fulfill their desires. I don't know how many of these cases you have come across but I have come across too many. People can do whatever they like but when they twist religion then thats is very dangerous

In 1980s the scene was different that time there wasn’t this much adultery in muslim societies as of today. You should get some valid content before starting your own dawah journey 😂

Brother Zaid El-Omar the "dawah bro" I assume you are speaking about made a clarification video, and if you choose not to watch it you choose to be ignorant about the situation as a whole. It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdur-Rahman b. Abu Bakra that his father said: We were in the company of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he observed: Should I not inform you about the most grievous of the grave sins? (The Holy Prophet) repeated it three times, and then said: Associating anyone with Allah, disobedience to parents, false testimony or false utterance. The Prophet was reclining, then he sat up, and he repeated it so many times that we wished that he should become silent. False utterance about someone is a major sin. May Allah increase us, guide us and have mercy on us and Allah knows best.

@tasumartinz1837 Im talking generally as I have seen this occuring many times throughout the years. Plus these clarifications are very political and I'm sorry but once you reach a level of being an influencer you have taken advantage of your position. This apologies and clarifications mean nothing to me as these are well thought out in a way to gain even more followers then before. The Muslims are too gullible to fall for these political statements of a clarification and I don't accept it.

I honestly don't think it would hurt to watch the video and possibly form a more informed opinion or even keep the same opinion, but that is between you Allah and Zaid. And even if you are not responding to the situation with brother Zaid, to assume that all or most "dawah bros" take advantage of their positions in the community is disingenuous.

I dont know about secret marriages but I know about misyar marriage and its not temporary marriage and it's allowed but a lot shykh also did call it haram or makruh. But anyways you are correct about the current modern dawah scene.

If you think the perfect marriage exists, then you are living in delusion. I understand if it's a life-and-death situation, but other than that, the only advice should be to be an obedient wife-simple.
