The prices in this game are sometimes very high due to the progression system. They wanted to make it so as you level up and unlock more parts, the prices get more expensive (so does your income) on parts that are much better. They did this rather than changing the prices of the parts to be lower as time went on, this is just so better parts cost more than parts that used to be good but would be irrelevant if they had the same MSRP price. P.S. You should do more PC Building Simulator videos, very entertaining :)

The thing I hate about PC Building Simulator is that it doesn't matter what RAM slots you use. In campaign mode it's very common to find computers that have the RAM sticks next to each other, and it doesn't effect the performance. Also at about 6 and a half minutes in you forgot to reapply the thermal paste when you changed the cpu cooler.
@jtenorj3 жыл бұрын
There is a limit to how much detail you really want in a "simulator" game before it becomes too much like real life and not really fun anymore. In real life, you would likely read the mobo manual to figure out which slot or slots to use, and you might even need to check a mobo's QVL list online to make sure the ram you want to use will work without issue. That's only a couple things in a whole long list of things that could make the game more realistic, but at the same time make the game a lot less fun to play. Heck, you can even use the money you earn in game completing jobs to buy tools which will auto install screws, cables and motherboard standoffs.

gotta love how the tutoral is called "how to build a PC" except most people who play the game don't use that mode, not knowing that there is a more or less specific procedure in this game specifically to build a PC. that or the people who play it are epic gamers who prefer to figure things out instead of doing a tutorial. also some other things to note that aren't really in the free build (i forget if there's a tutorial in the beginning of career mode): -you always need to start with a case -RAM config doesn't matter, all slots work the same -forget prices they're not really realistic, at least not as of now -press i to access inventory -there is no such thing as integrated graphics in this game so you always have to have a graphics card in there -the game doesn't have as many parts as you think, and especially not very old parts. even in terms of CPUs 6th gens are the oldest ones available, and AMD only have Ryzen, so no old FX CPUs. for graphics cards on Nvidia's side 900 series is the oldest. -if you get to try overclocking, remember that it's not very realistic, you can set pretty high voltages before killing a CPU, but still voltages, temps and speeds do matter (although Dawid i'll give you credit for using system info to see temps and stuff in 3DMark, i honestly never figured that out and didn't know it was possible until i saw it in this video so thanks, i never used system info)
