Now I want to check one of those bastard's face. They're dead but still have anger and bloodlust in eyes. A horrible and tragic image.

Visitormassacre That's because the Cenobites and Hell itself operate under specific rules and limitations. When Pinhead was unleashed in the third movie (I think), he was stripped of his governing rules and began to kill and torture en-masse, creating makeshift Cenobites in the process. If, as often happens in these debates, such restraints were removed in a comic forum showdown, Hell might have the upper hand in the war against Commorragh. But in fact, both sides are so closely aligned that they would be more likely have a brief pissing contest on who can deal/receive the most pain, then end up sending exchange students back and forth. The Cenobites recruit eagerly, and the Dark Eldar have even accepted a Chaos Space Marine to learn under their Haemonculi. I think they would look past their differences when it comes to order and chaos.

@laz kar which is something that soulstorm does wrong with them, they prey off the weak and vulnerable but they have you fighting everyone in a 1v1 fight... that's not how they work, it would of made sense if there was multiple factions fighting each other so the dark eldar could prey on the weak and vulnerable after each battle.

@@MrVlad12340 Except the dark eldar AVOID direct conflict they only attack when an army is distracted or weakened by another not directly fighting them in a fair 1v1 fight! You can't say that's them being weakened when its just the dark eldar vs whatever faction that's on the map even the introduction has gotten it all wrong as it looks like a set up to introduce the dark eldar with the imperial guard and tau fighting one another but then throws it all away when they used the sisters of battle against a race that doesn't know a thing about the warp.

Dark Eldar always seemed more threatening to me. Possibly because their so desperate when you look at them. They aren't out to gain favor, but keep themselves alive. In the end, an animal is always more terrifying when it's cornered and has to fight it's way out. Dark Eldar are backed into a corner by Slaanesh, and they don't even realize it.

Warhammer is much older than the FILM version of 'Starship Troopers'. The film, however, was based on a sci-fi novel written sometime in the 1960s, long before Warhammer was created. From what I've heard though, the film differs quite a lot from the book.

It's all about who does it with the most style. And in that area, Warhammer 40k blows all its opponents out of the water, whether they inspired it or were inspired by it. For instance, Egyptian mummies and killer androids have been around for years, but only in Warhammer 40k were the two concepts combined (the Necrons). Not quite. The Dark Eldar are not so much in or out of favor with Slaanesh as they are simply nourishment for She Who Thirsts, along with the rest of the Eldar race (outside of Harlequin). Slaanesh feeds on Eldar souls. The DE's solution to this was to retreat into the Webway, and take the souls of others, to extend their own lives as well as to satiate Slaanesh to an extent. The other Eldar have their own measures to combat the Thirst, such as Spirit Stones and a disciplined lifestyle.

Commorragh is located in the Webway. The Webway is a sort of extra dimension between the Warp and the material universe. Trouble is, the Webway is a really vast and confusing place, like a maze or labyrinth. Besides the DE, only the Harlequin know where Commorragh is and they visit it occasionally. Another mystery is the nature of Commorragh, like how large it is, its population, etc. The Eldar Craftworlds, however, exist in the material dimension and travel around in normal space.

Eldar accidentally created Slaanesh. Pretty much all their souls belong to him/her now. All Eldar, both Craftworlders and Dark Eldar hate Slaanesh and Slaanesh hates them too. He would never share his power with them, as Eldar and Slaanesh are definitely the biggest enemies. The only reason DE send him any souls is to distract him and keep him away. Chaos Marines, however, are not his enemies. They are his most loyal followers - so he shares his power with them, giving them the "warp benefits."

The Eldar plan of using the Orcs and the Tyranids to fight one-another, and then blowing them all up was actually a masterful idea! And I didn't say Space Marines had their instincts erased. I talked about their mind that cannot feel fear. Even in the real world you can have some manipulations that make you not feel love, happynes or pain. Why not fear? They are subjected to mental conditionment and training. You'll never see a Space Marine panic or flee. If they flee, it's because they think it's the best strategical solution, not because they are scared by death or something else.

yea..tha'ts why they need to manipulate other beings to do their bidding,but their only option is the ork..since their quite stubborn and would act on a full WAAAGH scale..but i would love to see the DOW creators make an only 'Eldar' DOW..like Warhammer 40k:Dawn of War:The Great Fall...all the events that happened during the eldar timing..novels,storybooks turned into an epic game

hmmm why wouldnt i use this knowledge against the enemy...(p.s. i read that info about the god emperor resurecting in lexicanum, though i forgot what article exactly, but it does say that he will comeback one day in a new body, but with the same spirit and mind)...gives the other gods a run for their money>:)

honestly i just like eldar. i dont hate playing as dark eldar Talos is probably my fav vehicle.

You need to install the previous games. Basic Dawn of War: You can play as Space Marines, Orks, Eldar and Chaos Winter Assault: You can play as the Imperial Guard Dark Crusade: You can play as the Tau and Necrons.

Dark Eldar fight so sadistically because it is fear what moves their kin. The fear they exude, and the fear they've to be devoured by Slaaneesh. That's why they fight sadistically to search pleasure in pain, their lives fade out fast if they don't so. For them, it's their race or the universe. And if they get pleasure saving themselves, better yet.

Why do they resemble Soviet Commisars? Well... both execute "traitors" and "deserters" on sight... I.G. is depending on which regiment you take. Cadians does looks like your conventional GI, just a soldier from any army of Earth. But for example, Krieg are WWI Germans, Catachan are US Vietnam era and Valhallans are clearly the WWII Soviet Army. Tau are East Asian in general, a strange culture and technology that the Imperium (the West) doesn't care to understand at all.

I think that important difference between Chaos and Dark Eldars, is style of killing. Chaos preffers the "hot" way of killing, and Dark Eldars the "cold" way. If you know what i mean;)

Yes, when a Chaos marine dies, he will go to the Warp, but they are not sucked empty while alive. Dark Eldar, however, are drained all the time, they will start turning into a pale, lifeless husk until they finally die - unless they find another way to "replace the parts Slaanesh wants to take away", so to say. Basically, the difference is that Dark Eldar are being sucked dry while still alive, no other race suffers from it though.
