Just reminding everyone that AngryJoeShow is a Show - not a reviews-only channel. This has always been a channel about games, movies, board games, and geek stuff. I know because I made it. If you subbed for reviews-only then watch the reviews when they come, when I'm inspired creatively and when I can make them. I'm not IGN, I cant review every single game that comes out nor do I want to. There are 9 games this month and even at my height of 4 reviews a month at 80-90 hours a week I couldn't maintain that. So please, if all you are going to do is complain that I talk about games and movies on my channel, Get. The Fuck. Out. you are wasting your time. And i"m giving you the heads up I'm going to start posting to my channel a lot more often with whatever I want to talk about in gaming, Im tired of being scared to upload my own content to my own channel because of some whiny entitled youtube comments.

That Eldar is not a Titan. It's a walker level Eldar unit just like the Knights are. I believe they are like Wraithguard, which are very large, but not Titan sized.

He doens't talk much because Joe's ego always rams in whenever he tries to talk, he almost didn't let Delrith finish his argument in 9:35 and showed clear disinterest on 9:50 (almost childlike attitude). Maybe he did that because of the time restraint, but that's not the first time i've seen he doing that (pretty frequently with OtherJoe).

You know what Angry Joe? After taking a closer look at those screenshots from the game, I came to a realization. As someone who paints models and plays the tabletop game the whole style and rendering of the environments and in-game models very strongly reminds me of actual painted miniatures and terrain pieces you'd set up on the game board. Especially that Knight Titan. It looks very similar to how I (or anyone) painted, shaded, and highlighted my plastic Knight models. If they're intentionally trying to make it look like the plastic models jumped to life and started running around, then they're doing a fantastic job of it.

Oddly, there WAS 2 seconds' worth of gameplay footage when I saw the trailer just when it came out. It featured the Imperial Knight and Blood Angels walking down, a shot you saw in the article. Not sure why that got removed, but people were complaining about the weird movement of the Terminators. Maybe it looked unready, so they're polishing it up.

But just like in 40k tabletop, the emporers chosen will cry if theres too many Tau involved, have to sneak them in later after letting the marines hit orks for awhile and feel like they did something. For the common good of all, to get the marine fanboys and ork lovers to buy it up mainstream, Tau have to be patient.

I pray this wont bring anything from DOW 2 other than the customization and mission choosing sorta. Let everything else be from DOW 1. Thats the better game. better game design. Story progression and more. Not to mention traditional RTS building and expanding. DOW 2 had a super cool story. But the gameplay felt much less interesting. So linear, predictable, repetative set-ups and no variation to how you wanna approach your enemy. Not to mention enemies almost never respawns. I hope we can have massive, framerate dropping fights. Lots of structures. Lots of building like the good ol game. Helps replay value as well in my opinion. And for the love of god let them enable PERSISTANT corpses. Like in DOW 1.

@7:35 - They probably mean the giant units in general. That is, such large units did not exist in previous Relic games. Also, Dawn of War 1 had a single Blood Raven campaign. It was Winter Assault that had the integrated campaign, though that was still only two "hero" factions working together, and two "villain" factions working together, and wasn't really jumping between factions that much.

Imperial Knight, and Eldar Wraithknight's are the same size. Joe, you seem to have confused the Eldar Wraithknight, with an actual eldar titan. There will be hard counters as there have always been in the Warhammer 40,000 table top, however that doesn't mean there won't be soft counters.

Nerd Points: The Ork walker was a Deff Dread. Eldar Wraithknights are indeed taller than Questoris-pattern Imperial Knights. Neither Eldar or Imperial Knights are Titans (despite what GW's marketing dept slap on the Knight box for IP reasons); Imperial Knights are an entirety separate lighter class of super-heavy walker which are not part of the Adeptus Mechanicus, but some Knight Households are indentured to serve the Ad Mech. I don't always agree with the opinions expressed in your vids, but I really enjoyed seeing you guys' reactions to this, the trailer is fucking IMMENSE, if a bit abstract. Can't wait for this game, I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we will... Keep up the good work, Joe!

+D3athChick3n They just don't know how to do epic scale. DOW ultimate apocalypse gets it right on the Grande scale of the 40k universe. These armies they show are more like 1800 point armies on the table top; we don't' want that in the video games. We want to be able to use all the stuff that most of us can't dump hundreds of dollars into for the table top. Video games shouldn't be limiting, especially for a game taking place in the 40k universe.

Also need Chaos, Imperial Guard and Necrons. And I hate this in all DAW games - space marines are special and best forces. 1 mariner = 100 or more orcs, but in these games they dies so much. How 2 solve it? Make missions with space marines, and do not make them an independent fraction or/and unite all imperium fractions in 1 (making space marines as an elite forces, rare and costly).

+Daniel Unnamed That wouldn't work with Lore, considering there are numerous Space Marine factions and in some cases though they claim allegiance to the Emperor they have worked covertly and overtly against each other and the IG (who themselves aren't a single entity but more an umbrella group). They are a completely separate force that is not subservient to the other Imperial military forces. The best way to solve it is to basically have fewer Space Marines but who are actually powerful. They kinda did that in DOW1 anyway, as Orc and IG units got more troops in them than SM.

Well it is canon, Imperial Guard aren't always loyal to the Emperor, some Regiments are more loyal to system/sector Governance. Some split of and become secessionists there are plenty of reasons to choose from if you just do any search of any Space Marine Chapter or Imperial Guard unit. They should be treated as independent forces. Sisters would fight Space Marines if they felt they were becoming 'heretical' or acting against the wishes of the Emperor. Space Marine Chapters that become too rogue can end up becoming Chaos Space Marines etc.

Rock paper scissor like orcs having an advantage over eldar, elder having an advantage over space marine and space marine having an advantage over orcs? That would be senseless. that would just make no one want to main one race. which is what all proud citizens of the Imperium should do. Praise the Emperor! As far as DoW 2 is concerned, I agree they made it to much of a squad based game and ill admit that it was actually a good squad based Action-RTS kinda game. Though I dislike the game because it was not like what I was expecting at all.

tim Geddes In Campaign having more persistent characters, that you develop in skills and gears - trying to stay out of being corrupted by Chaos, is highly enjoyable. It wasn't DoW1, or C&C-like games (that I love), but I enjoyed it for the different game it was.

I'm honestly not very impressed with what I'm seeing and reading. So many things in the article point to the game getting simplified(dumbed down) to make it overly accessible for people who haven't played before. And while that might sounds like a good thing, anyone who has played even a bit of DoW2 knows that the game isn't very complicated at all. So there really isn't any reason to make things even more simple. And then you have the fact that they're making it into this cartoony clown fest with bright colors and silly looking animations and models(Gabriel apparently jumping almost 10m into the air in terminator armor???) 40K is suppose to be grim and dark, yet it seems they're going for the exact opposite(which the CG trailer completely contradicts. Overall my hype has dwindled quickly after reading the PCgame article and I'm now nervously holding my breath to see what they turn this thing into.. Was hoping for a brutal, grim, dark and somewhat depressing large scale 40K RTS. But seems more like we're getting a simple mobafied colorful tactics game.

The mod for this game (Gorb on official site and Gorbles on steam) helps sink this game more than any other 20 people combined including everyone on the dev team. I have seen racist comments, anti-Semitic comments and they are just deleted while those users aren't punished at all because they are pro dow3. Gorb uses his mod status to bully people right off the forums and out of the game with actions like this. I replied to a guy that was attacking someone for wanting base building back like in dow 1 with this reply and was banned for one week without ever receiving a single warning for my behavior on those forums. "Dont listen to that guy. He is first in and argues with everyone about everything out of boredom. If you would have said something about sync kills or cover or the proximity of the moon to the earth, he would have been first in to post and argue with you about that as well. Many people liked the structure of base building in DOW 1, knowing what to build and when to build it was key to success and what made it more than just spamming units to locations X to blob and fight.If you tired of apoc mod try titanium mod. I didnt do apoc i loved titanium so much after trying it. It adds literally every unit that is in the codex to the armies on DOW 1. Imperial guard alone you end up with 25 or more unique tanks. More units than any army in dow3 has , in fact some armies with that mod have More units than all 3 armies in DOW3 combined. Also, no... This game is definitely not worth buying as of yet. Let pony be an example of one of the 500 angry people you will be in multi games with, and after campaign that is really all you will have." Not much effort was put into singleplayer like that past titles.Don't touch this game with a ten foot pole

I watch most of your streams and youtube videos,besides the board game stuff.I never complain if you take your time or make selective reviews etc. I just want to suggest,since you are playing a lot more games than you are reviewing,that you make a small series,where you make a 1-3 min video and you call it a mini-review or something,where you say your opinion on a game from the x ammount of time you played it,you quickly say your personal opinion on wether you like a game or not,no score nothing like that. Just a quick video where at the end you are like "I played this game for a couple of hours and i got bored of it,it's not my type of game" or "it's not a game worth my time." or "i really like this game and i see potential in it,but i am not gonna go through with researching stuff about the game and play through all the modes it has and play it's multiplayer etc. to do a full review,but from what i played i do recommend it,it's a fun game and in my opinion worth the money."
