The end of mistborn era 2 was AMAAAZING, learning the leader of the ghostbloods blended so nicely with autonomy and the stuff happenning in stormlight archives :)

@@BuilderB08Brandon Sanderson said in like an interview that Hoid had held a Dawnshard and that that is why he lives such a long life, can’t eat meat, and can’t willingly physically harm someone(unless it’s self defense). It’s theorized that since another one of his names is Topaz, that he held the Dawnshard in a topaz gem at one point. He no longer holds the Dawnshard. Also he had already been alive for a long time by the time Adonalsium shattered.

i think you are going to absolutely adore tress of the emerald sea when you get around to reading it, but you should probably read the rest of the Cosmere first

tress was one of the first cosmere books I read (after mistborn era 1 and the main stormlight books) and I'm glad it was because it reinvigorated my love for this universe. and you don't really need to know everything about the cosmere to enjoy it, it's a good standalone

If you're wondering why the Dawnshard is feared, well, the answer is the breadth of understanding of a Deity means basically that its more powerful than Nightblood(nightblood is op). As its the power of a god. So yes, very potent.
