Beautiful stop beating yourself up over the colors, all cards are deliciously lovely. It's ok to have imperfections that's what makes your work unique and home made. bravo Kelly!

I love the way you don't let what you think of as a bad background area, keep you from treating it like it's your favorite, then stamp on it. It turns out amazing.

Kelly I think this is my favourite video of yours. I love you going a bit out of your comfort zone and doing watercolour goodness. This is super cool. I love all the results. Keep watercolouring!

I love the one you didn't like! It's a great card for a teen, bright and bold. If only I didn't have other things to do and could go experiment with some ink and water! TFS!

I love this idea. I love the look of watercolor and struggle so much with putting color down next to each other without making a total mess and ending up with muddy colors. I have to note, that I loved your 4th example...the purple came through strongly and I liked the boldness of it! Can't wait to try this for myself.

You really did great on all the cards. I like how the last card turned out as well. You can really turn things around. Just love it. Mary

Just when I think you could not get any more creative, you absolutely hit another home run. I agree with other commenters that the last one has character. It is quite unexpected. If something like this happens, maybe try adjusting your plan and move away from florals. I think this inking background would look great with fall or Halloween images.

Love W+9 stamps especially the kind soul one. Wish we could get them in Canada...was going to order them but just to expensive with exchange and taxes etc. But love all your videos...nice to see sometimes how to correct mistakes. LOL

Lovely but I see you forgot to mention the set for the sentiments, I love them. Would you please be able to tell me wich set they come from? Are they also from wplus9? - Thank you kindly!

Maryvel Friesen I love them too! The fonts are beautiful. They are all from the 3 floral sets I used.

Actually I really liked the last background as it seemed to have more "personality"! Funny how we all see things differently!

Why do you mask the leaves when you don't stamp over them?
@KellyTaylorCards7 жыл бұрын
D For some of the bouquets I did stamp over them but I also put down my masks as I go in case ai want to stamp over them It's just a security measure so I don't accidentally stamp over an image :)

Hey Norine, there are many different kinds of Bristol Smooth so it could be you're using the wrong kind because that happened to me. Try the Strathmore Bristol Smooth, with the number code #365096 OR here is the link for SSS: www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Strathmore-BRISTOL-SMOOTH-9-x-12-Paper-Pad-365096-365096S

Nancy Lynn Hi Nancy think I have the right one but what is that # you put down where would I find that? I have the strathmore bristol smooth 100lb
@norinemueller45887 жыл бұрын
Also mine is the 300 series can't understand why my zigs won't blend as soon as I put down any darker color for shading the line stays there
@NancyLynn7 жыл бұрын
The six digit number is the bar code on the cover of the pad. You are right that it is 100lb., 9x12", and also says on the front "For finished artwork pen & ink". You may also be able to get it at Amazon cheaper but I am Canadian so my choices are different. Hope that helps.

Kelly you are WAY too hard on yourself. The black sheep was my favorite until you went into the blue but the ability of a great stamper is to go on and make it a great card. That you did. They were all beautiful.👍
