There are so many iconic Pacey and Joey moments but I truly think “I Remember Everything” is top-ranking. The way Joshua Jackson delivers it is just swoon-worthy. The wry chuckle he does after she asks, leaning into her ear, and saying it so passionately … I needed resuscitation. And the way Joey melted into him and just wanted him to hold her??? And how they got lost in each other’s arms until Josh noticed Dawson staring??? How Pacey didn’t even have to see her or ask her … he just could feel her shift in comfort??? Say what you will about Dawson (and I say a lot because fuck that boy) but his little villain arc made the angst so delicious.

It’s so irritating that nobody realizes how manipulative and just wrong Dawson is at this particular time !! I think this whole story just reveals a problem in Dawson and Pacey’s friendship : Dawson always thought he was in some way superior to Pacey (more academic success, more family stability, maybe also more financial means.. and thought it meant he was a better person) and everybody would validate this idea, even Pacey because everybody in his life belittled him. So the first time it was possible that Pacey would win over him it was a true shock to him

"I remember everything" has to be one of the most romantic lines/line deliveries in the history of television. I really appreciate you calling out the ridiculousness that Dawson continues to be portrayed as the ultimate moral compass/"good boy" when he's truly awful. I'm so excited for you to watch the next episode!

I am waiting for your DC's reactions all the time! Hehe I love how dawson ennerves you! Haha! He is the worst, toxic before the word became a thing... And the fact he acknowledged he didn't organised the anti-prom for jack but to get joey, like he can't see how horrible that is... 🤦🏾‍♀️ I think the reason both pacey and Joey gravitate towards Dawson is because they both come from "broken" homes... She lost her mom, her dad is in jail, and all pacey 's family is so abusive that they cling to Dawson and his family' semblance of normality to a degree where he can belite them, treat them horrible and they still forgive him and make excuses for him... Pacey maybe less now, but you can see it clear with joey...

Lol. The last frame of Dawson's expression and your facial reaction to it is perfection. He really looked like he was ready to get his camera. So creepy and weird. Sorry, but his suffering gives me so much pleasure. Literally the one character I love to hate. I had exactly the same reaction to all of this.

"i remember everything" is THE quintessential joey and pacey quote omg hahahahaha i can't believe it got cut. Anyways we love them. They are the most amazing couple in this show. And Dawson... I hated him so much. I think I only began liking him again in S5.

These episodes are turture to watch. You know Joey and Pacey are meant to be but they did in a way that it make it seem like they weren't, putting all these Dawson and Joey moments...every scene of them makes me mad and wanting to watch any other thing in the world, it's really tough to go through these episodes, althought it's worthy in the end.

I love them, because they show how crazy and ridiculous Dawson truly is. Straight up taking Joey hostage. And every time he freaks out, it just further proves that Pacey is the better person... Yeah, the fact that nobody is setting Dawson straight and that they even support him in his crazy behaviors seems really strange. Almost like two different writers working against each other. But we know that true love wins in the end.

@@xyfghter99 I agree that during these episodes we can clearly see how good of a person Pacey but that doesn't make it easier to watch. Now. What you said about the two writers was brilliant, yes, definitely that's what it looks like, cause dispite these episodes, throughtout the rest of the show, everyone just kept saying Dawson was amazing and a great guy and everybody just forgot these moments where he shows how of jerk he is and not just a jerk but bordering a psycopath, nobody sees that. It's ridiculous, even after these moments where Joey feels almost threated by him, like you said treated like a hostage, she comes back to him, falling in love with him again in season 5. Dispite these episodes showing how bad Dawson is, in the rest of the series...they keep trying to tell us Dawson was the right guy for Joey and also an amazing friend and person in general when that was clearly not true, i don't think he is a villain, but he has serious issues and should not be treated by the writers like he is the model to all the boys, they would do to him the opposite of "show, not tell" ,they told the audience everytime "hey, this is the protagonist, you should like him" but everytime they did that they put Dawson to do something that would make us hate him even more...be consist people. I will never forget once, Gramms saying that he was the best guy that she knew after Jack...like what? Jack, okay, he is amazing, but Dawson before Pacey? It's insane how they treated the audience in regards to Dawson, i felt insulted everytime they did that, it's like we are not smart enough to see the character for what they put on the screen, they have to convince us. They suffered from the thing authors have where they don't know how to make a likeable protagonist so they turn them into a terrible one, i've seen it before a hundred of times but Dawson is another level lol.

Damn, what a bad end to season 3 (and it's even worse in episode 23). Not the general plot, but the characterization. The writers really came close to destroying the series with this season 3 (if only Kevin Williamson had stayed...). Fortunately, season 4 will partly fix all that.
