Dax Shepard Wants to Replace Bradley Cooper in 'A Star Is Born'

Dax Shepard explained to Ellen how he's hoping to replace Bradley Cooper and score the lead in a potential "A Star Is Born" sequel. The actor also celebrated his birthday on the show, and described why his January 2nd birthday is actually the "worst birthday in the world."

Hello Ellen, I hardly ever comment on your videos, but I thought I'd comment on this one. Dax, first of all, it's absolutely possible for labor to be that fast. Almost ever one of my seven children were super fast labors for my wife. I think the longest one was 4 hours. So I'm not sure that's a hole in your mom's birth story for you. Second, again for Dax, listen man, if you ever need anyone to show up for your birthday party, hit me up. I'm there for you, pal! That's all. -Brian P.S. Agreed... I crowned in the elevator on the way to my mom's room...lol She'd been in labor less than 2 hours. I only weighed 4 lbs 9 oz, but I was due.

Yep! My labor with my fourth baby was, from first contraction to baby in my arms, just under 2 hrs. It felt like the kind of labor you see in movies. I didn't think it ever really happened that way! haha

Yup! My fourth baby, I woke up at 11:18pm from my water breaking and I was holding her by 12:02 am. Head was already coming when we arrived at the birth center LOL

Quick labours do happen. My first child the nurse told me I was having a contraction at 4:56am which I didn't believe. My waters broke within the next 3mins and then my son was born at 5:28am

I agree with you Dax my birthday is on the 2nd of January so everyone either buys me a Christmas present that is supposed to be a joint birthday present or they just forget completely. People are also skint so I can't go out with anyone or they have decided to quit drinking, eating out etc so no one feels like celebrating but they always expect me to celebrate theirs 🙄
