Day 1 ATV'ing Across Newfoundland 2019

This is Day one of our adventure to ATV across Newfoundland on our quad 2019. We took nine days, three quads and five people to ATV across Newfoundland. Here we travel North Sydney cross on the ferry and ride from Argentia to Clarenville, Newfoundland. The weather was perfect.

Awesome video! I am from the beautiful Town of Placentia were the ferry comes in. I was surprised you guys haven't added Castile Hill and stop into Tim Horton's in Placentia before the atv tour when arriving into the town. There is another part of the old railroad that branches off and can take you right to castle hill and down into the main area in Placentia. Placentia has Napa, Lawtons, Home Hardware, Dollarama, foodland and Tim Hortons, hotels and more! It's a beautiful area to see and you can stock up with supplies before heading across the island.

Really great advice.... I will definitely look into this. You wouldn't have any GPS tracks? Maybe I can see the trail on Google Earth. I would do that for sure. Castle Hill intrigues me, I'd like to see that. I am going to put it on my research for our 2021 trip. Thanks for the tip.

Would a 65 in Polaris general xp fit on the trails

There are no barriers anywhere. It may be a tight squeeze in some places when you meet someone but it’s totally doable.

I've watched several videos on this trip. Is there a maximum width limit? We are buying the new Kawasaki KRX 1000. It is 68" wide. Would that be a problem on those trails?

People drive pickup trucks on the t’rail. I have seen all sizes. Your only issue will be pulling over to pass oncoming SXS but no I don’t think you will have an issue. There are no barriers or restricted areas. Lots of locals have big wide SXS.

I love my CFMoto. In fact we are planning on buying a side by side CFMoto next year.
