How recent was that?

@@longandwinding opened some time last summer . Crusher is an official trail now starts right back at the fire road down a bit from the top of slippery gypsy . Very technical. The bottom half of saw tooth is all flowy berms and turns . Great fun . With an official climb trail out of there called bowsaw . And there is another 2 way trail called wonga , which gives another alternative going up than vomit and going down to rock salt .

Nice riding! But might be some info you weren’t aware of.... Crusher isn’t all a new trail but it is ‘illegal’. The local club are still trying to get approval from Parks Vic to open it to the public. They had special permission to race it for the enduro event and it was then immediately closed again. You rode the old back half via that side entry, the first half is new and has signs at the top asking not to ride. Great trail... but not sure whether the club would be pumped about public promotion of it? That Crusher Number 1 sign on the tree also says ‘No Strava’.

Thanks for clarifying Lachlan. Good info. It’s sometimes hard to know what I can and can’t ride, but always want to do the right thing when it comes to sustainable trail riding. I assume because there were no no entry signs and a large wooden bridge on the trail that it was legit. Take note folks!

Haha, you have dad joke permission now 😄 looks good watching the new bike hammering down those tracks

There you go riding a week after me again :) I did Pins and Needles, didn't know about the new trail and skipped the bigger drop and gap jump since riding alone also and only went down it once. Did that last run twice but the climbs back up are hard work!

Ships in the night... Yes the climbs are hard work alright, especially on the bigger bike!

Whilst you’re down on the Mornington Peninsula, go give Eatons Cutting a look.
