Day 10 Egg Candling, Second Attempt. Using MagicFly this time.

My first attempt at candling using the built in Candler in the Nurture Right Incubator ( amzn.to/3DPNNaU ) did not go well. The incubator itself seems to work fine, but the candler is pretty much useless.
My MagicFly Candler ( amzn.to/3YfT0AV ) arrived today and I finally got a good look at the development of the eggs.
Of the 10 eggs, two were fails, so we are now down to 8 viable eggs. You can see some of the chicks moving in their shells which was really cool to see for the first time.
This is my first time trying to incubate chicks, so this is all new to me and I'm learning as I go and dragging you along for the ride.

Its very cool to see them, this is my first time hatching chicks so this is all new to me too. They should start hatching on Feb 18, will probably rig up a live feed on the incubator to share the experience. Thanks so much for subscribing! Eric

I appreciate it Adam. We are in Upstate SC near the GA border. We've lived here for 20 years but just started making the garden and raising chickens last year. We're making lots of mistakes and hopefully learning from them. You'll quickly see that my editing skills are lacking, and I have a habit of only filming between doing things instead of while I'm doing something, cuz filming while doing makes any project take 3 times as long.
