I love that Brian is with you for this section! Seems like you two have a very beautiful, peaceful marriage, which is such a gift. Thank you so much for taking us along and sharing your journey.🤍

Another great video, it’s so interesting to see the different landscapes as you’ve continued on your journey!!! Your daily mileage is SO impressive and how easily you say “we are hiking 25 miles today”!!! (Of course, I know it’s not easy, but you make it look effortless at times). Also, thanks for answering my prior questions about walking through streams. Great to hear that your shoes dry easily and that you don’t get blisters (YAY). Again, you are so inspirational with your attitude and smiles through HARD work. It’s been double fun watching your Tofino journey, too. Thanks for taking us along❤

Again so nice to see you and your husband now, you look happy. I dont think a lot of people know how it is to walk that much everyday for a long time . All respect.

If you and Brian ever want to hike the Wonderland Trail, around Mt. Rainier, we live just outside the park. You could stay with us and I could transport you to the trail. This will be my 3rd summer as a Trail Angel at White Pass (PCT mile 2295) and also hosting thru hikers in our home, and I’ll be thru hiking the PCT in 2025! I love your videos!

Brian's trail name should be Super Mario, that's who he reminds me of. Loved this episode. Thank you...

i was contemplating going SOBO since I have a hard time with intense heat. I can't wait to see how you managed the rest of the trail. Also, you guys look so cute together!

Wow--you two have the biggest smiles in this section! You are right--the Desert Section looks like such a different world. I have only hiked in Joshua Tree as far as desert goes, so I have had just a little taste. I was just wondering if you had seen rattlesnakes in November, then all of a sudden, a rattlesnake appeared in your video! I don't think I had ever seen a hiker do the aqueduct section in the daytime before--because most videos are from NOBOS and they do it at night, usually.

From about 14:30 on, there were patches that didn’t even look like desert. Great scenery.

Your daily mileage is huge compared to what I see from many through hikers. Very impressive.

Go, Brian, Go! Krysta, are you still carrying your bear cannister? Top of your pack looks like it.
@KrystaNorwick6 ай бұрын
Yes I was! Brian had the Ursack, so I decided to just keep carrying the bear canister while he was here. Definitely not a necessity though.

$10 to pick up a resupply package which you already paid to post? Some of these hiker facilities sure seem to take advantage of a captive audience 🤔
