Looking great! I have to say I have been spraying Standox 1.5 coat waterborne since it was first introduced to North America. Everyone was against the 1.5 coat system then. Now both PPG and BASF offer it. Not sure on PPG but it looks like BASF did a really good job with the 100 line. 👍🏻 the 1.5 coat process is extremely nice to work with

@donproctor44805 ай бұрын
Wet seems to be the trick with this system, I remember when the trainers were here, we were spraying solvent (onyx hd) & he said, “spray it wetter”, cause I was spraying it the same way I did with dbc, he took the gun and wet it like you did, over 10 min old sealer, I cringe as I waited for it to blister, I didn’t. It’s the same way on the water version of it to. Crazy how this works. I will tell you, assuming 100 line is the same, the candy jobs become a 3 stage instead of the dye in the clear, makes life so much easier. Look forward to the rest of the week updates. Also, the camera is really good, I haven’t had a bad color match yet, and that includes a 70% match once. 😬 I did learn with the that the higher the adjustment on a camera shot, the lighter it can be, but also lean yesterday on how the red, blue and green lines work. Tell your thanks. 👍

I’ve been trying to tell you for awhile! Everything else is sub par! They will be releasing their one coat glasurit clear soon! Just think about it.. a sealer coat, one coat of base, one coat of clear! All you need now to be on my level of production is the UV Fastlane 2k! You’d be shocked how much more you can get done lol! Nice work today! Those were easy jobs though.. can’t wait for tomorrow

I agree I was on 90line for roughly the same time until 2 years ago and the camera was so accurate and reliable. Now I'm using sikkens and the camera is useless, it can say it's a good match on the system and you put it down and it's terrible. I think a big part of it being so unreliable is because it doesn't give you an option to choose adjusted or non adjusted
