I married in June 2023, at the age of 68! My husband and I both spent a lot of years healing our pasts and finding our way so when we met and started sharing we realized it was meant to be this way. We are very happy! (Been together 8 1/2 years). Don’t worry. You have God’s time to find her.

Great to hear a HELLO YOU again, followed by the wonderful Head Good, Mind Good, etc.. You are back in form and from the look of the scenery and weather you could be in the heart of Ireland. Enjoy the moment.

I walked the Frances May-June of 2024. Before leaving I began watching a lot of Camino videos and yours impressed me so much that there were many mornings where cafe con leche wasn’t close, and I’d do one of your “all good” self check-ins to get me going. Now, post-Camino, it’s great to see these new posts and this new energy you’ve got going. Seems like the Camino is working its magic on you and deservedly so. Thank you for these videos and well done!

Hi Derek. Wonderful to watch this video today after I had my therapy session as I am at the point of letting go. “I’m done. I’m not bitter or angry, I’m just done”. I too am soon to embark on a long distance pilgrimage trail and for me it’s the journey and purpose, not the destination that I am going for. It’s doing something for me and hopefully healing along the way. Buen Camino, Derek you are an inspiration . 🙂

Thank you Derek for reminding us that we are multi faceted beings. We carry so much baggage and it would do us well to become minimalists to find our cores. This partner will come to you. She will be wise and see the good man in front of her. ❤

I do enjoy your chats and videos. Thanks for sharing. What is the temperature, it doesn’t seem too cold? Being from NL we are used to cold damp hiking.

If you read one chapter a day of the Gospel of John, you will complete it just before you arrive at cruz de ferro. In 2012 i asked God to reveal himself to me if he existed, at cruz de ferro. This happened during covid lockdown in 2020. God bless your journey.

Any woman would be blessed to have u as a husband mate. But to give yourself the best possible chance of meeting someone, I feel u might have to settle down in one area long term. That means giving up your current lifestyle. Very difficult decision. Best of luck

I lost my husband 12 years ago. I was in my mid 40. I moved to the smokies and bought a house and settled into downsizing and … here I am. Still a widow. I have everything and nobody to share it with. I’ve been settled down in one area long term. 🤷♀️ I’m going to be selling my home and take a year to travel and all the things Derek is speaking of. I pray I find someone. It’s out of my hands. I do know, it’s up to God. I’ve turned it over to him. The likelihood of finding someone and the life I want by remaining here, I feel, is slim. That’s not why I’m making this change. However, I do hope it’s a fringe benefit and I open up myself to find love again. Anyway, I saw this comment and thought I’d give my thoughts on the idea of having to be in one place. The one place thing can come after you find your soul mate. It can be before or after.
