Great advice. Let me add for those that are older like me ... When I retired I went for my check up at the doc's office and he told me while you were working you had to be productive. Now you don't. This doesn't mean become a couch potato but don't run around with your head cut off looking for something to do. Just take it easy, do what you want and shake that productive corporate mentality. This will change your life. It changed mine for the better.

It all adds up to balance in lifestyle and trying to keep a mild tempered spirit. People have to love someone like that or it surely makes them easier to love.

I've only ever encountered 2 essential fitness/wellness channels, and this is one of them. The psychological and philosophical components of our journey are BY FAR the most significant, and only yourself and one other gentleman are covering it at this level. This is an AMAZING lesson that can only really be fully experienced and internalized from decades of blood, sweat and tears on the battlefield. Every point you made here echoed in my soul. This was relating to an experience x 1000, and it just made my heart smile.

The thing is, what defines “hard work?” Is it working longer hours? Working in hard labor? It seems people like to throw that term around

People that say they don't need money don't have any....I ask my retired friends what do you miss about work? They all say, "Going to the bank with a paycheck."
