Such a great and wise connection made between the water flowing from the right side of the temple and the water and blood flowing the Jesus’ right side. Amazing! Praise the Lord! May God bless and keep you all, your families, and friends! ❤

I love that image of the potter and the clay, we used to make coil pots at school, not as much fun as trying to 'throw one' now it takes some co ordination to keep your feet going and sculpt something beautiful, bit like rubbing your tummy and patting your head at the same time🥴 Found the words to this song on you tube, quite sure it applies to us all. But the potter knows the clay How much pressure it can take How many times around the wheel Till there's submission to his will He's planned a beautiful design But it will take some fire and time It's gonna be o.k Cause the potter knows the clay

Really enjoyed this Bible Session. The Potter and the clay is such a beautiful analogy. And I was concentrating so hard on comparing the assignment of land to the 12 tribes (compared to early tribes) and the layout of the Ezekiel Temple and imagining the water flowing from the west side to the Deed Sea that I did not anticipate the connection with the Crucifix. And it makes such perfect sense!

Lord Jesus, I humbly pray for myself, Father Mike, & all the people participating in the Bible-in-Year podcast. I do not know all their needs, but you do, Lord. I offer them to you with confidence that you hear our prayers. May your word take deep root in our hearts & transform our ways of thinking, discerning, and acting. May your grace open our ears to hear & understand and revere & treasure both the Old & the New Testaments which God has prepared for all who desire to enter his kingdom. Please send us your Holy Spirit to give us the Spirit of Knowledge, that we may know God and know ourselves. Give us the grace to approach the Word of God with meekness & humility, & with an eagerness to do everything God desires. Please give me the grace to set aside my intellect and my know-it-all attitude and let your Word speak to my heart and my soul. Help us to be diligent students & faithful disciples of your Word. May our hearts never grow dull & may our ears never tire of listening to your voice. Thank you and praise you for the gift of perseverance and for nourishing us with your word! Amen.

Dearest Father Mike, the smiting and God's anger is so great I'm feeling overwhelmed by the constant anger. Hanging on until we can get some Grace in The New Testament because day after day hearing how Israel is stubborn and how once again it is going to go down and I'm just hanging on by a thread. I'll be here tomorrow taking in the Good Word...but I hope soon we can get past the constant punishment of non-believers. It's also hard to hear a constant threat. People never respond to threats/promises on that level. They just get more defiant...and defensive. It gets weary...certainly we need a view of beauty to give us more than just a threat. And asking people to live a good life their whole lives only to get to heaven as the final gift is asking people a lot. For there are many days, many days from birth to death...we need manna not just when we die but we need something to get us through every day. And often a promise for the future is not enough when we find ourselves starving, dying or suffering. Yes, I love Job. Yes, I understand The Message. Just holding on until we can get to something other than threats and destruction. Love you Father. See/Hear you tomorrow.

One of things I've been doing as a practice Catholic. I've been going to confession when some month. I'm not perfect, but I'm trying. I wish I was perfect don't make any Sins at all because i'm human I make mistakes. When I forget to confess something. The whole spirit wakes me up when I'm sleeping and I put it on my phone. So I can remember to tell the priest what I did get absolution. The reason I put it on the phone. I don't know how to spell. Add all Because I'm at first grader speller even though I am age 67 I used to be in special education classes when I used to go to school. I gotta high school education diploma What's the weather for us? When you're in those classes, they give you easier work at your level in high school. How is the multiplications? Indivision add in subtracting. Even though we have easier work, they still check our work. Make sure we gotta write. Resume my spill in the so good. I'm using a microphone. Since I don't know how to spell. But one thing for sure. I know the cafe church is God's own. A true church that jesus christ appointed saint peter to be the head of the church.

The reason the people immediately knew Jesus was the fulfillment and the new temple was because when they had to clean out all the blood from the sacrificed animals in the temple they used streams of water that commingled with the blood …. The two would flow together out of the temple just as they flowed together out of the side of Jesus. I learned this from a study with Scott Hahn.

Ezekiel 47 1 - The man led me back to the entrance of the Temple. Water was coming out from under the entrance and flowing east, the direction the Temple faced. It was flowing down from under the south part of the Temple past the south side of the altar. 12 - " On each bank of the stream all kinds of trees will grow to provide food. Their leaves will never wither, and they will never stop bearing fruit. They will have fresh fruit every month, because they are watered by the stream that flows from the Temple. The trees will provide food, and their leaves will be used for healing people." 21 - "Divide this land among your tribes; 22 - it is to be your permanent possession. The foreigners who are living among you and who have had children born here are also to receive their share of the land when you divide it. They are to be treated like full Israelite citizens and are to draw lots for shares of the land along with the tribes of Israel. 23 - All foreign residents will receive their share with the people of the tribe among whom they are living. I, the Sovereign Lord , have spoken." Ezekiel 48 1-7 - ..... Each tribe is to receive one section of land extending from the eastern boundary west to the Mediterranean Sea, in the following order from north to south : Dan Asher Naphtali Manasseh Ephraim Reuben Judah 14 - The area dedicated to the Lord is the best part of all the land, and none of it may sold or exchanged or transferred to anyone else. It is holy and belongs to the Lord. 18 - The land that is left after the city has been built in the area immediately to the south of the holy area - 4 miles by 2 miles on the east and 4 miles by 2 miles on the west - is to be used as farmland by the people who live in the city. 19 - Anyone who lives in the city, no matter which tribe he comes from, may farm that land. 23-27 - ..... each of the remaining tribes is to receive one section of land running from the eastern boundary west to the Mediterranean Sea, in the following order from north to south : Benjamin Simeon Issachar Zebulun Gad 30 - 34 - There are twelve entrances to the city of Jerusalem. Each of the four walls measures 2,520 yards and has three gates in it, each named for one of the tribes. The gates in the north wall are named for Reuben, Judah, and Levi; those in the east wall, for Joseph, Benjamin, and Dan; those in the south wall, for Simeon, Issachar, and Zebulun; and those in the west wall are named for Gad, Asher, and Naphtali. 35 - The total length of the wall on all four sides of the city is 10,080 yards. The name of the city from now on will be "The-Lord-Is-Here !" 📖🕯 The Good News Bible Today's English Version

Father Mike, with all these prophecies about the coming of the Messiah, some of our Jewish brothers and sisters still do not believe that the Messiah has come and gone. They are still waiting for His coming. He was with them for 33 years and still they did not notice Him. So sad! In the old, God was with them at night in the form of fire and during the day in the form of a cloud and yet they preferred human leaders to lead them. They have God as the King of glory, the Lord of Hosts and yet they preferred a human king. They had the One True God and yet they preferred the false gods. Jesus was with them in the form of human except sin and yet they still did not recognize Him. Unfortunately this is very true to us in this time.Are we stupid or what???

The main thing is, don’t give up. Keep reading, keep praying, and keep listening. The Bible is kind of like a puzzle sometimes. When you read the Bible the first time, it’s a little overwhelming, kinda like when you dump out the pieces to 1,000 piece puzzle. You can say, “Geez there’s no way I can piece this puzzle together” or you can take little by little to create something beautiful. As you just keep doing those things I mentioned at first the pieces of the Bible will start coming together. It begins to make more sense. Honestly, I don’t care how many times you read it, sometimes you’re still scratching your head like huh? I didn’t get anything out of that, but you don’t give up. I’m proud of you that you’re listening and reading. You’re on the right track, just don’t give up. The Good Lord will help you, along with Father Mike, your pastor, there’s so many resources on KZbin and so many great books on various topics I’m sure you’re trying to understand. Just keep it up.😊 Jesus said, “Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, shall be filled.” Stay hungry for the Lord and His precious Word.😊 I promise you, He will change your life for sure, which I’m sure you can already vouch for.

It has bothered me many times over my life to know that baptism is very important but Jesus and the other people who presented themselves to John the Baptist to be baptized did it themselves. They were not brought by their parents or others as babies but they spoke for themselves and asked to be baptized. Shouldn’t we baptize our children when they are older? Let them actually participate in presenting themselves to be baptized as they do for their first communion? Maybe do it on the same day as their first holy communion since my understanding is the church observes the age of seven as the age of reason and personal responsibility for sin.
@cbtherepetitiveparthelpsme9572 жыл бұрын
The reason for it done as a baby is to give us God's grace. In the Eastern Catholic rite we are baptized and confirmed on the same day. What a blessing a double dose of grace!
