Bends are a ton of fun, but they are deceptively tricky to nail. Getting them perfect requires not just mastering your fingering, but also developing a great ear.

Good lesson. Hard to hit th exact tone you are aiming for... Also, the various fingers are different technique. Will be a challenge. I think I heard you say it will take a week or two before we are able to Gilmour?

Great video. Thank you. Was hoping you would mention how to get good vibrato at the top of the bend. Maybe it's in an upcoming lesson.

The trick is this: instead of “shaking” the string with both upward and downward motion at the top of a bend, slightly let up on the bend and let gravity do the downward motion for you. So you’re essentially cutting the amount of physical effort in half by easing the string down slightly and only pushing on the string to vibrato upwards. Hope that helps!

3 days, 3 guitars. Are we going to see 30 guitars?? 😂 Seriously, My big problem with bending is I almost always tend to catch the strings above on the way down. I'm looking forward to working these into my practice sessions.
