Definitely fit for an independent film......if you want & you could figure out how to do so....probably with mainly your commentary...and visuals with those who gave consent. So glad to have been apart of this historical journey. Peace and continued blessings!

@@TonyaTko you were lucky it was not the police, they would have delayed you till you pay them. The last time I woz there 2010 they had no uber, I took private taxi about 9pm. He drove me to a secluded area, very dark, where the police stopped us, who knows if they were police or not who knows, they made me to almost missed my flight. They made sure I dropped money for them. They were high on Indian hemp.

Whoa! Lots of interesting going’s-on in this vlog. This entire series teaches an important lesson. You need to be smart and strong to travel abroad - especially a woman traveling alone. I think Tonya did so well these 30 days. There were many times when she could have been harmed or terribly exploited - but no. Critics take note. If you don’t have the mettle, stay home. Tonya has what it takes.

Ha, this reminds me of my trip to Africa through France... they put us up in a beautiful hotel... because when we got back from lunch in France, (2hours before) our flight to Africa, they said, "the flight is full..."👀 how so, when we're 2 hours early AND have tickets in hand???? We returned 4 hours early the next day lol & made our flight!! Smh...lawwwwd, but AMAZING African trip nonetheless!!!💜💜💜💜

I worked with two young fresh from Nigerians guys 27 and 28 y/o and a Ghanian and I think he was 27, too but I worked closer with the Nigerians. I asked a lot of questions about Nigeria and I remember the one saying "You don't know how lucky you are to take for granted electricity & phones and you don't need a driver" and without him having to go in depth I already knew what he was saying. Black Americans have always taken care of Black immigrants to the best of our abilities and when you when they come for the Nigerians or any of our Black brothers and sisters then you are coming for us. Why some of them want to call us "akatas" makes no sense.

Tonya I get so in raged when I see people with calm spirits being pushed to the limit. Tonya I wanted to come through this phone on that crook side the road!😠 I felt bad for your driver. I have 2 questions: 1. It’s clear that you’re a very particular woman which made me wonder Do you like myself make it a point to check in and around the toilets every time you check in hotels? If so that’s a great habit & I encourage everyone to adopt this habit 2. Do you plan on visiting Atlanta Ga in the near future?

This is why i will never travel to West Africa Nigeria especially not even Lagos which is now called Abuja, no way. I was told that at the airport the workers take your bags without your consent then demand that you pay them for carrying your luggage. I've also been told that all of the merchants and the people exploits you severely when they know that you are a tourist it's sad, and robbery is very high there as well. Sorry that you experienced that Tonya. I absolutely love Egypt though, great food, great people.
