Hamza, a pattern i see in you and especially in these videos is that you are always talking about a negative thing, almost complaining or critiquing yourself, it seems to be you have a problem with over-analyzation, which is natural but i think it stems from to much time to think. Sometimes its important to not think and just keep a certain trajectory, as you talked about with youtubers, always switching up leads to less growth than consistency, even if the road you follow consistently is inferior to where you end up with switching up, the repetition makes the consistent path superior. I recommend seeking more distraction, read fiction, watch good movies, music, theatre, art, discover new places, nature, food, hang out with people as much as possible. Rest and peace is more important to growth then constantly seeking improvement, as fighters we should live like lions, hunt 2/3 hours all out, then eat and rest. You and me can’t rest by ourselves just reading or writing, our mind alone disturbs our peace, stimulation allows you to be in the moment, to watch, to experience, and not to be the centre of action, but just taken along the ride. I personally like movies, may sound degen to you but as an actor and wannabe director it seems quite productive, its just taking in a story in the best way that humans have invented yet, and if its the use of downtime and it really takes your mind off all the other things, it might be worth it. just watch a movie after the postworkout meal, i do it in a bath after sparring, for me its a beautiful recharge and works much better then doing anything that would make my mind or body work some more, even video games might be better then being restless, but i find them too addicting and stressing. Just a little yap

might be sleep bro. Your mind might need only 5, but body might need 8-9 especially since you're training so hard

Feeling overtrained cause lack of recovery is very possible, and we recover best with sleep. And it is always better to sleep 3 hours extra than scroll for 3 hours. But you know yourself best bro. Look at the progress you've already made!

Yeah I feel you bro, gotta listen to your body at the end of the day. It’s definitely frustrating when you want to keep pushing and building that momentum but then your body starts breaking down. I like to always remind myself of all the progress I’ve made which usually makes me feel less guilty.

One thing that has been important with my 3 year old son is never having to say to him "I used to workout " Or other things give me fufillment. Never want to be that guy. Being happy yourself and fufilled makes you a better parent.

Bro, I’m so grateful for your videos, they’re helping me so much. Because I appreciate you so much, I feel like I need to share this. As long as you’re constantly comparing yourself to others and seeking external validation, instead of truly accepting yourself, you’re giving away the power over your own happiness to other people. Accepting yourself doesn’t mean you stop evolving, it just means you’re at peace with who you are in the present. I know this might sound cheesy or cringe, and you don’t have to take my word for it, but this mindset has genuinely brought me real happiness.

Maybe consider sleeping in shorter bouts, but multiple times a day? I remember reading about how Federer slept for 12h a day when he was training/playing professionally, 10h at night and 2 spread out throughout the day, in short naps. Maybe something similar, I.e. 6h at night, and 2-3 hours in naps, would help you recover better?

One thing I disagree with is the gym etc being in relation to other people. Ive had situations with guys that were bigger than me (mostly roiders). Giving me the vibe like "whys this guy walking with his chest out acting like he owns the place?" Because I just dont need to be the biggest roided up guy to feel content. Theres a lot to be said about being secure in yourself. Inner approval vs external. I know sounds all woowoo but its a part of good mental health and confidence. If I were the absolute biggest it would make be feel like there was no more room to progress upward. That being said it is fun going to certain places outside of the gym, knowing you're the only one that lifts weights. And its nicer to go to like an LA fitness or whatever commerical gym, vs some influencer gym or pro bodybuilder place. But yeah as far as materialism goes, wouldnt want to feel pressure to be materialistic just because everyone around you is. Bigger fish in a small pond is definitely better. Just because its better not to be around stuffy workahoics obsessed with preserving their egos.

when you are too exhausted, just train on defense. Drill some dodging exercises and train not to flinch when a punch comes without hitting the pads. just body movements.

Hamza, you said that you are sleeping 6.5ish hours and that you don't feel like that's causing what you are feeling. Matthew Walker, the world leading sleep expert says "We know that the number of people who can survive on less than six hours of sleep and show no impairment in either the brain or the body, rounded to a whole number and expressed as a per cent of the population, is actually zero". You should reconsider it.
