TLC having gone through the Bible with you every day, I just have to give praise to the Lord for transforming my heart. Yesterday I called a local western wear store about some boots and was transferred to that department. The moment to man answered my call he sounded put out by having to check to see if they were in stock and came back quickly saying they didn’t have them. It was like getting hit from behind in your car and thinking what just happened and wanting to react with anger, but Jesus’ love overpowered that and I just told him thanks for checking. Now I just wish I had asked him “what’s up” and how could I help or pray for him. I pray for him now and ask that others of you would pray for him and all retail salespeople that are tired and working this last week before Christmas for them to be blessed and strengthened. My mind and life has been transformed this past year! Thank you!

Amen sister, everyone needs to be shown grace. Times, situations and circumstances are rough. We never know what’s going on in people’s lives and if we are self absorbed we won’t even think about it😔 I love the transformative power of the Word! May God continue to show you/ us how to serve in even the tiniest areas 🙏🏾

As a person who worked in retail, I will have to say that the there are not enough grateful people. It’s a consumer nation. People are driven by deals and materialistic things. They are rude because they are fighting each other for stuff that’s going to fade away. It’s sad and that’s not the reason for the season. I’m anxious during the holidays. I will never go back to retail. I need to fall in love with the holidays again.

I love this time everyday where I can read and learn about God through scripture. I am a little behind but God is right on time. I have been in situations lately with friends and co workers where they say things that are either not accurate or do not believe in God. I have not been confident in relaying the true word of God to them for fear of saying the wrong thing or turning someone off to the Lord. I needed to read today’s word and listen to the recap because what I’m feeling is a lie from the accuser. The truth is that I am arming myself with God’s word everyday. I will continue to pray for God to continue to feed me the word, give me wisdom and understanding so that I can speak to others about him with love and courageousness.

What I saw today that I had not really seen before was in 4:28. "...Rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need." Thankful that I am still able to work part-time in my mid-70s. What a blessing

This has been a beautiful 250 days of starting each day with God's word and TLC! No matter what happens in my day, I have put my armor on and am prepared to face what comes my way. I now cannot imagine a day without reading The Word. I will be starting the recap all over again January 1! Each year I know I will learn more!

I just finished my 54th book. 🙌🏽 By grace we have been saved in faith. We are God’s workmanship. I’m excited I’m a member of God’s household. We have to live truthfully. We have to put on The Whole Armor of God. Marriage is definitely hard work as a wife of a husband who has failed and betrayed my trust, cheated on me it’s hard. I still hold on to my faith because no matter what I go through he is where the joy is. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

So much richness in Ephesians. Many familiar verses that resonate with me. One that stood out is Ephesians 4:2-3, "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." I pray this for myself, my family, my pastors, my church- God's church. 🙏🏽

Seven out of the 8 verses from Eph 5:22-29 are directed at husbands, requiring them to love their wives as Christ loves the church, sacrificing Himself for her. Husbands are to lead their marriages spiritually by encouraging their wives to grow more like Christ (see 5:27), as they are being sanctified as well. What’s an aspect of sanctification, growing more like Christ? Eph 5:3-4, 8-11: no more obscenity, coarse joking, sexual impurity-and instead, fill our hearts and marriages with the Light and Life of Jesus.

Such insights you give TLC! As a believer for over 30 years I have read through the Bible several times, and studied through Ephesians even more. Tho I admit I am a slow learner, your recap today opened my eyes to the armor of God not covering our backs. We need one another to go to battle with and have each other's back.

I wish TLC would speak on predestination. I feel like this is the fourth or fifth time it's been mentioned in our reading. 5:22-33 is especially tough as a divorcee; we failed....I failed.
