Good going Ralf , don’t be so critical of yourself because for a one man band your doing great, ceiling’s are hard enough with 2 people let alone one. Fingers crossed 🤞 you get it rented asap and get some cash coming back in and not going out 👌🏻, enjoying it a lot.

What a great series! Loving the daily videos. So interesting. I don't know how you maintain this level of activity, day after day. Totally impressive!

I have been following you on KZbin, pehaps from the beginning. I enjoy the views from the Italian house, but I must say, the lush green grounds embracing you in France make me hope that you will one day move back there and rent out the other one. So often, I admire your partner for all her love and work with the children and supporting you, both always. You are an exceptional man and so lucky to have your family, too. Please, always make them the priority.

You fit a lot of living and work into one day. I'm enjoying this series very much and like you I also like both houses, but I'm all for the French house at the moment and mainly because of the wonderful garden.

Enjoying catching up with your hard work over the week. There was a very good bar / restaurant (L'ensemble) in the village. We ate there a few times but sadly it closed about a year or so ago. The restaurant in the next village (our village), St Pantaly d'Ans, is outstanding...and Maria is Austrian.

Well, you sure as hell aren't useless yet! You've really had a week. No complaints about a sore back or neck. Love the series always good to see you. I understand the difference between what France has for you right now with a lot of work but that Italy has a bit better lifestyle and fun for the whole family at this stage. The people renting will love that beautiful village I'm sure.

The camera angle makes it look as though the ceiling is low. Often it appears that your head is inches away from the ceiling.

Would it be viable to hire a wood chipper rather than taking everything to the déchetterie? Saving the environment, conserving water on the land, weed suppression or gifting the mulch to the neighbours.

Well, there is no clear winner; France wins on garden, infrastructure, and privacy, Italy on food, community and closeness to the sea. But the real deal changer is that Tuscany is a 4 1/2 hour drive and Dordogne is 12 ish…

So, you're originally from England - English. Have a place in Italy - Italian. Have what I believe is an Austrian partner - German. And you have a place in France - French. Do speak any other languages? How many languages do your children speak?
@NotUselessYet3 ай бұрын
No, just English French German and a bit of Italian. The kids are bilingual English German.
