This was the second time most of us had been to Nocona MX in Texas and we were excited to practice sections that interested each of us. Kris was focused on a smaller triple step up that is actually a little bit trickier for our skill level than what the video shows. You have to maintain momentum out of the corner, keep the bike straight through loose soil and make sure you don't get kicked on the short jump face you must hit hard enough that you pop the entire three steps. Dan had injured his knee mountain biking that week so it was cool that he was actually able to ride with us. Dan is the person I raced in Day 62 when I got my tail end handed to me. So look out for a part in the video right after Kris hits the tipple step-up as I see Dan come around and chase after. Kenny and I were focused on doing laps and there are a handful of sections in this video where I try my hardest to keep up with him and got some good amateur footage doing so. Corey was out with us too that day but my helmet camera didn't catch him in any of the video footage that I am aware of. I brought two bikes with me that day, the 2017 KTM 450 FE and the 2017 KTM 250 SX Two Stroke.
