With a face as red as a lobster--fried by a Co2 lazar--I in day 7 of Dr. Brook Goldner's Goodbye Autoimmune Disease Rapid Recovery Group.
In this video I share insights that have further strengthened my resolve to follow this transformative program, run by her and her husband Thomas Tadlock, MS, to the best of my ability. I encourage others to do the same by using a simple analogy that was explained by Dr. Goldner, in one of many of her daily support videos.
Again I will say that those who follow the program as outlined for the group will find that it is truly transformative. .

@@NanSimonsen you are very welcome. I also wanted to add that this video really is convincing to how necessary it is to follow this program exactly. Even with your background you found it difficult to adhere to the strict RR protocol precisely. I know it would be extremely difficult for me as well even though I believe I’m a pretty clean WFPB eater overall. You really provided the holy grail. This time with your examples it really showed how critical it is that one little change we add to this process can decrease the chance for our complete healing because we all have a tendency to rationalize our choices at times. Thank you for always putting yourself out there. By the way, this is what truly makes your beauty shine!

I was out all day and four hours longer than I was expecting at a big market fair What I could’ve done is quickly chop up a whole par of Vegetables and make a large guacamole and take that then I wouldn’t have had to have falafel wrap, despite Fruit I was hungry for something savoury and it was already 7:30 pm for *Manage to have that Anyway good tips getting a new nutra bullet today am I for once getting fixed but I’m back on the plan Thanks Nan good video keep sharing

Nan, another good video. I'm on Smoothie Shred on FB but after listening to you, I think I will buy her Goodbye Lupus and his Miracle metabolism. I need to lose fat and heal achy joints. For 16 days now I have done mostly raw- I had one sweet potato and tofu the other day. I have loved about 7 pounds and I feel more energy, going to bed earlier and not scrolling until midnight. I have two 32 ounce smoothies a day and by the time I get to my raw large salad I am nearly full! I may experiment with one large smoothie and then the large salad for a total 1 plus pounds greens and cruciferous. I know this is what I need to do and I am so pleased it is fairly easy for me, after 30 years trying to eat raw! and I will do it for as long as I feel I need to! You look just fine and you will look great in time!

Oh, Nan, you're simply GLOWING! I know you'll heal quickly with the strict protocol. I'm glad you decided to make this video. Nan, be proud of yourself for doing this-- I sure am! Your platter looks like what I had for dinner-- with an addition of raw Brussels sprouts! I didn't feel like fixing anything fancy but the cruciferous+extras platter will get the job done. Nan, I have to confess that I haven't been doing the strict protocol 100% thus my slow results... you've motivated me to just DO IT and stop taking a bite of this and that and rationalizing...It's worth the sacrifice, like you said, because it's our health. I didn't realize I had so much more going on on the inside as well as not prioritizing self-care and stress management and sleep. I cried reading Goodbye Autoimmune a few months ago. It may be time to go through it again. It's more than just the smoothie and cruciferous veggies and omega-3s that will bring full healing...the whole being needs to be addressed, acknowledged, and well taken care of. I needed a good kick in the pants and you brought it. By the way I am also very red and peeling, but all over and Ive been in so much widespread pain and discomfort, It seems once a month for the past few months I've been breaking out in hives and eczema and we cannot pinpoint anything.... my medication has changed which may have caused my immune system to go haywire, it may be hormones, or allergies, or maybe the lupus... anyways, I have to do a round of prednisone next week after I get routine labs done. I feel like I'm with you in the current suffering we are currently facing. You're beautiful, your heart and soul is beautiful. You are a wonderful human being. We are made in God's image and it is worth it to take care of ourselves so that we can take care of each other on this planet. I look forward to following your journey!

Thank you very much for taking the time to express yourself so well. It sounds as if you are having a very hard time with your bodies reaction, and how frustrating to be unsure of the source. I am gratified to know that what I have shared may inspire you to strictly follow the protocol, and every bit as importantly, the self-care, mental, and emotional aspects. These are a huge part of our ability to heal. And Dr. Goldner has sent a very good job of creating a protocol that works if we work at. So I’m sending you my best, and hopefully some additional strength to treat yourself with excellence because you deserve it. God bless you and thank you again for your kindness. 🌻❤️🌻

Nan you look great, like you have a sunburn. Just a little swollen. I had a laser treatment last fall and i think i looked much worse than you. I think the protocol is having you heal faster than usual. Thank you for coming on and encouraging us!

@ Honestly, I don’t notice that much difference. I was a model for a laser training class and the students worked on me so the setting was very low. The teacher did say that I should have 3 treatments. I have pretty good skin already but some sun spots I’d like to address if I do it again. They also did my chest which i would not do again. The chest was very uncomfortable and took a lot longer to heal than my face. I used a refrigerated face mask on my face and that helped the redness and swelling go down pretty quickly. The flaking and scaliness took a bit longer. A friend of mine had a full oblation under anesthesia (along with a facelift) and her skin looks brand new now but she had lots of sun damage. She’s very happy with her results.

Thanks for this video Nan, I was waiting on the update especially since Dr. G had to leave early on Wed to return to your group. I will try the Flackers Flax since I didn't have a silicone tray to dehydrate per her book. You look good can't believe you are fussing, just seems like you are blushing😊. I agree keep it simple with eating.

Great to hear from you Elspeth! I heard someone say that the flag crackers were a game changer for them, and they really do help to add an additional dimension to the food, salty crunch, and flavor. I’m glad that you enjoyed what I had to say today. And I very much appreciate you taking the time to write. Keep watching and please stay in touch.🌻❤️🌻

You’re welcome Susan. Not so painful; just uncomfortable. The process began with an hour of numbing cream, and then numbing injections. The procedure then took an hour. Not necessarily painful, just uncomfortable. The aftermath - hot skin, swollen for days, a tightness of the face, and the oozing and peeling that goes on for days, and then the lingering redness. If the results are really good, I would say it was all worth it. Fingers crossed, right?!🌻😃🌻

Good question Kathy. No, it wasn’t horrible. Lots of shots before the procedure to numb the pain, and someone there for the hour that it took to basically burn my face off. 😂. I didn’t bother with any pain meds, it was just uncomfortable for a few days and felt very hot. So it took care of the lesions. I wanted to get rid of, and I hear that I should have a smoother face from it. So sounds like a win-win all the way around. I hope you keep watching, and stay in touch. 🌻🥰🌻

Curious, are you saying you can eat to change hypothyroidism? Meaning not needing daily meds? Eager to hear about this.
@NanSimonsen
@NanSimonsen 7 күн бұрын
Hi Kimmy, there are people who still have a partially working thyroid who can reverse the disease and go off medication. Mine is so entrenched that that may not be the case, but I’m trying to get all of my thyroid antibodies to go to normal which I should be able to. That doesn’t necessarily mean, though that my thyroid will produce what is needed. In other words, yes, that is certainly a possibility; my best to you.🌻🥰🌻

Are we not to have tofu nor legumes on the protocol ? Did u buy the guacamole in store? What is in the dressing? I have eliminated all process food for a few months now but I have only just decided to go fully raw and discovered that it is really convenient as opposed to cooking a meal especially with workingfull time. And it does keep me through the day as long as i have my smoothies. I have cheated by eating almonds and walnuts tho a handful maybe in a given day. Do u have an email address. Thanks for this as it does gives me the support and encouragement needed. God bless u!

Hi Claudette! No, the Goodbye Lupus protocol does not include legumes, grains, starchy veggies, or cooked food. In addition, it includes omega-3 fatty acid seeds.- flax, Chia, or 3 tablespoons of their cold pressed oil- as well as a minimum of 96 ounces of water a day. The almonds are very, very high in omega six fatty acids which dominate the omega-3’s, thereby negating their value. Walnuts less so, but they are still higher and omega six fatty acids over omega-3’s. The point of the protocol is to infuse our bodies with omega-3 fatty acid, which are very anti-inflammatory as opposed to the access of omega sixes that we all get, which can then be very inflammatory. I hope this is helpful. Keep watching my videos, and please stay in touch. 🌻💝🌻

Could you clarify something for me? Do you do a pound of leafy greens plus another pound of cruciferous? I am seeing mixed things about that. Right now, I am doing my smoothie, eating g a large salad and eating a plant-based meal in the evening, maybe just some broccoli and a sweet potato, but I know this is not the fully raw program you are on. I just would like to know what the rapid recovery protocol actually is. Thank you.
@NanSimonsen
@NanSimonsen 7 күн бұрын
Good question D. Morgan. It appears that you eat a healthy whole food plant-based diet. The the protocol as stated in Goodbye Lupus is 1 pound of deep leafy green and/or cruciferous vegetables, and another half a pound of that or any non-starchy vegetable. All raw. A minimum of 96 ounces of water, and 1/2 cup of flax and/or Chia seeds. In the rapid recovery group, we have some higher numbers, but those are all evaluated per person based on their capacity healthwise. I hope this is helpful. Thanks for connecting.🌻🥰🌻

 good question @d.Morgan. On this HEALING protocol, the food is only lol. At the end of the six weeks if I’ve gotten out of it, what I want, I will. ‘Step down’ my and vegetables, etc.. I will also continue the hyper nourishing protocol of Goodbye Lupus because, why not?! I enjoy having all those greens, and cruciferous, and flax and Chia seeds, and drinking the 96 oz of water. If it works the way, I believe it will, I don’t want to lose the benefits. I hope this is helpful. 🌻❤️🌻

Nan, your loving self care and pro-activeness here reminds me of a supervisor (admired by many for his accomplishments) I had while on a Sheriff's Dept. He also had his face resurfaced medically, same like procedure. This man worked daily for over a year on his own to type out & file a court case on the State level which set the mandate for all sworn law enforcement officers in our state to be PAID while they were under investigation for negligence or criminal actions before being convicted. Basically if they were accused, their bread & butter was not immediately cut off as b4. *Powerful Divine beings serving mankind....you & that boss !

Thank you very much for your kind words, and yes, I’m hoping that when this heals it peels back a few years😅. My goodness day 36, you’re almost there. Hang in there, it feels so great when you finish the six weeks, although for some the healing still needs a little more time. That was the case with me. And that’s OK too. I’m finding the second time around to be very comfortable food, wise, now it’s working with underlying emotional things, all good! Thanks for writing. Please keep watching and stay in touch.🌻🥰🌻

@NanSimonsen
@NanSimonsen 3 күн бұрын
Hi Birtee, I must say I do go to the restroom often, though not every 20 minutes. But, I’ve been doing her hyper nourishing protocol with the smoothies and the 96 ounces or more of water since September, and trust me, your body does adjust. Although I don’t use iodized salt, I do use salt on my food, and I take the iodine that she recommends for Hashimoto’s first thing in the morning, giving me an hour and a half before I’m gonna have cruciferous vegetables. I hope this was helpful.🌻💝🌻
