This is such a a good series. My grandpa is in his 90s now and still growing corn in Indiana(With my uncle's help). This series makes me want to quit my job and go help him plant 😂

Fellow hoosier here. Seems like most farmers do farm until they either physically can't do it anymore or they die off. I have noticed there aren't a whole lot of younger generations taking over farm operations. Might just be my county though.

Ive been watching this series and and its so entertaining. Being a farmer and seeing how other people doing it is amazing. I actually lost my grandpa this year and its so sweet seeing this it reminds me of the good times. Also are neighbours are called the pickels thought it was funny

Since you have brought up irl farming a few times throughout the series, would you mind explaining some of the finances of a small private farm? A lot of youtube sources have become very bad for that kind of information because they always seem to be selling something or setting some unrealistic expectation of being a millionaire off 1 acre. Like how many acres would you target to be profitable (after your own living expenses) or concerns with getting water and such. Thanks for the info.
