I was kinda in the same boat last week. I went to a prerelease event on Sunday (casual thank god). I've only played the game for an week then. Never drafted a deck before.... I was the only newbie in my group. It was such a mess making the deck. XD such a laugh though!

lobber crew is a amazing card man. i use it in my sealed tournaments if i get 2, and i always try and draft them as well. blue/white/red with 2 lobber crews and alot of multi coloured cards. works soooo well

maybe a helpful tip to dont forget the zapping, or other stuff at the end of turn, put a cube on your deck, and before you draw (and untap!) you should be remembered something's to do... at least what i do :)

@Day9tv Next time you have a ability you want to use an ability end of turn, You are allowed to put a dice on top of your library to remind yourself. The only downside to this, is that the draw phase is after untap and draw step. So if you realise at your draw step, it's to late.

Watching this caused fond reminiscing of great duels, I looked through my old suitcase and found the one card I had held onto. Arcum Dagsson, my old EDH general. Not a Wizard deck haha, an Artificer deck :) Don't cast powerful spells, manipulate ancient devices in degenerate ways to defeat my opponents.

so every card in your deck box that is not part of your 40 card main deck is considered part of your sideboard. Here he had 3 cards extra which means he had 3 more sideboard cards than he registered. Because the potential for abuse is high the penalty is a game loss. However, how Mr. 9 explained it it sounded like Tristan presented his deck AND sideboard which is the work around to the rule. A more experienced judge would have picked up on this and not issued a penalty.

iam not playing magic the gathering, but iam playing yugioh and in yugioh with the deck check its basiclly the same. So i can totally understand this feeling of having a deck check when you have like 3 other cards in your deck box and getting a game loss (i already had this), its just terrible :(

Between games you are allowed to "siedeboard". Sideboarding means you can take out cards out of your deck, that you feel are not good for this matchup and replace them with other cards you have in your sideboard. Since players usually keep their sideboards in their deckboxes, any card in a deckbox is considered part of the player's sideboard. So, you aren't allowed to have other cards in the deckbox, because you could fool your opponent that the other cards are part of your sideboard and cheat.

The judge ruling is pretty nice just a warning and mulligan. In Yugioh you would get a game loss or maybe even match loss depending on the judge.
@andreiiorga827712 жыл бұрын
How's it spelled?? Lubbercrew?
@Jabadamazo12 жыл бұрын
Unless I'm totally fucking wrong, I believe the forced mulligan if you draw an extra card was recently changed. Day 1 of GPs are competitive REL, which means that it's the same REL as a PTQ. I've seen that situation happen a few times at PTQs, and every time the ruling was to put a random card back from your hand, and get a warning. At professional REL I'm not sure if they kept the forced mulligan or not, but GP day 1s are not professional. Maybe they changed it back, I'm not sure.

What do you want him to talk about to relate to you as a father? Sean isn't a father and doesn't have that "normal" adult life, so he isn't going to have many stories related to those topics. But Sean has talked about his mother before. And since you mentioned other casters, djWheat and TotalBiscuit both have wives and sons that they talk about. Check out Day9's My Life of Starcraft daily, or JP McDaniel's Real Talk series. Maybe you will relate to them more in those settings.
