After watching a bunch of these turns out my grandma found a deck at the thrift shop and got it for 5 bucks, it’s a white green heavy control with a little agro featuring Arahbo, Roar of the World, now just to find someone to play against, I’m the only person I know that even owns a deck😂😂

Meteor Golem was actually designed specifically to go into all of the planeswalker decks: it was meant to show new players that everything has an answer (and to give the decks in colors with weaker removal a way to actually deal with planeswalkers and big threats).

I find his whole style of G&S filming really jarrying and unenjoyable. The concept of a real time scene combined wiht talking heads who are obviously either talking during or after the game, is just not immersive. Like, is Sean talking after the game, and therefore "pretending" to not already know what happens and relating back to how he felt at the time, OR are they stopping all the time to film these parts? Either way, its just really disruptive. I just want to watch people do stuff - play board games play card games, whatever, without continual interview interruptions.

I got that black deck on release day, turned it into a straight zombie/skeleton deck, took out all the life steal for more resurrection/blood divinations and added Lilliana, Deaths Majesty to it. Ridiculously good synergy and a ton of fun to play.

I used to love this show but I'm starting to hate it. The guests are all starting to be players that are new to the game or who aren't very good. Because of this the host pretends to be worse at the game than he actually is. It's like watching an adult play a child. This ruins it for me. The entertainment value really goes down. I don't care what celeb you have on your show. I like the game itself. If you're going to just invite people to the show who have nothing to do with MTG and have no idea how to play then you may as well just turn the show into a talk show. Sean ACTIVELY plays like crap just so his guests don't look like morons. If you have to dumb down your play for these people then stop having them on your show.
