the president was very clear that he was not going to start new projects before completing the many that were left incomplete by the previous regime. i think Ruto though not perfect has done a good job in laying the foundation of his governance, i can only judge his performance after 5 years.

For this project to happen, we need a blueprint of the stadium, check; we need a timeline, check; we need allocated budget, not checked; and we need the major players as in contractors, not checked. These information should readily be available and accessible to all so that we can keep tubs on the project. Nyayo Sports Complex hosted the All-African Games in 87 out of pity, and nothing has happened at the dump since then.

Maybe the military is involved because the urgency of this stadium is to host afcon.

I might differ with the government but military worldwide and nys can help in doing some projects in their various countries.

With a Chinese contractor on site, I am more confident that I was when it was initially claimed the military was going to carryout the work.

My only wish is that it is delayed and completed just a month to Afcon, my reason being if it is completed in December 2025, it may need 'refurbishment' by the time Afcon comes around.
