We are trying to get all settled in with our newborn and working on getting new routines going (see our new morning routine with a newborn here: • Morning Routine with a... ). Watch what a do on a typical day with a newborn. Hint it is mostly trying to get her to sleep, her eating and changing her :)
Come spend a day in my life as a quadriplegic mom with a newborn.

I love your positive attitude and if others take the time to watch this and consider your wonderful abilities they will see that, too! You are amazing! Thanks for sharing!❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Meg! As a woman with Cerebral Palsy who uses a power chair, these videos give me so much hope. They remind me that I can use my creativity / problem-solving skills to be a mom to my future babies the same I've used it to do everything else up to this point. I totally identify with the problem of people being constantly surprised and overlooking my abilities. "You're so independent!" Ummm....thanks? It's not really a compliment. It tells me that that people's perception of disability...need some work.

Meg, you are amazing!!! You are a very caring and loving mom. You are intelligent and know your limitations and work around them. I think everyone has limitations but not all work around them as you do. You are an inspiration in the way you handle life since the accident and make the most of every situation. I could sleep to your voice at night, you are so soft spoken and your voice is very soothing. Much love and respect for you 🥰

Hello, as a totally blind person, I know too well about discrimination. Good on you for putting these videos out there and showing people. You have got such a lovely voice! This video came up in my KZbin feed, so watching you for the first time. You sound absolutely gorgeous! Obviously I couldn't see how you do things, but, you certainly don't sound like the sort of person to put your baby in harms way! Good on you again for putting out these videos. More people need to see things like this.

I still can't get over the natural deliveries...way to go Meg!!! How precious...the talking thing. It's the bonding with the way you carry her in front of you...she just wants to make sure there is still a physical connection even when not on your lap. I absolutely love the show Monk. My foster dad was an oil painter and signed his paintings 'Monk Morgan'...no clue why. Can you attach binky to her shirt? I bet when you say she pushes your hand away, she thinks you are going to cover her head.

Meg , I have to say first off , that I am so beyond proud of you for your positiveness and your will , to not ever give up!!! I also have disabilities , that keep me from doing a lot of things I would like to do , and as you said , it is and does make you so depressed from time to time . I have had social services called on me as well because of mine before , and when they came out , the guy told us there at his home visit ( the only time we saw him ) that the case was closed and there was no reason why they should have been called out in the first place. People are so heartless nowadays , and it is so sad , how others think that because we are disabled , that we cannot live life and be independent and do for ourselves for some things , maybe not everything , but the biggest part of what needs done. I love watching your videos and seeing how , life may throw you lemons , from time to time , but you can either throw them away and give up , or you can take what God has given you and make a sweet cup of lemonade 🙂. Anyways it feels so nice to see someone be so positive and make the best of every single thing that is thrown your way . Thank you my friend ❤️🙂 Keep it up and keep on Rollin ! ( I love that saying and love y'all's shirts)

Hello Meg I just started watching your video's and want to let you know you are a beautiful person and have a beautiful spirit and you are so strong and so right to have such a great attitude about how life does go on regardless of your disability!!! I was diagnosed with one of several diseases at the age of 21 and by the time I had my first child I was on crutches . The downstairs dining room my husband set up to make it into a changing and sleeping area for our baby and you do the very best that you can . We went on to have two more children and life is wonderful! As a new health problem arose I would just deal with it and always remind myself that I am a strong person and have no choice but to deal with it and move on. I am an elderly woman now and am a true believer that yes life can be challenging but I am still here happy and content with my life. God Bless you and your wonderful family!!! Sincerely, a new subscriber.

Your so right about knowing when to ask for help and excepting that we can't do everything. Well said. I think it's sad that some able bodied people don't see all that you are able to do. I think your amazing in all you have over come and All the things you can do . somethings you do, some able bodied people can Not do. Your positivity is inspiring and so beautiful. I love to watch you care and love your kids. I have a nephew who lost a leg and most of one hand. Very sad. But I know he is capable of doing so much more, in the beginning he was all about setting goals to achieve things he really wanted to do. Now he seems to have lost that and sits in his house like he's given up. I'm going to share your story with him in hopes he'll be inspired. Any ideas? Thank you for sharing your life so honestly and personally it really is amazing. Your delightful. Hugs xo

That’s funny that you play your speeches for her, Actually you have a very nice speaking voice it’s very I don’t know the tone is really nice. My daughter has in a wheelchair she’s been in a wheelchair all of her adult life so I kind of get what you’re talking about, One of the things that she does is she also uses her feet to push off furniture if she gets stuck. Your children know about you they know what they know that you love them just because you hold her differently she looks fine if she got much more comfortable I don’t know if that’s possible.

I have a question Meg. It simply is a question out of curiosity; nothing more, nothing less. Would you have able to breast feed had you chose to do so? Do you think that would have been more or less difficult for you? (I would actually think maybe a bit more difficult than bottle feeding. I would think just getting your breast out and back in [clothing] would've made breast feeding more difficult than bottle feeding. Thnx
