I haven't seen many people who're willing to share their experiences with psych wards or really mental illness in general, I'm really proud and keep on keeping on!

9:25 Loved your micro-scramble I can't believe she makes the bed, laundry and braids her hair. I guess females are like that. In the hospital I didn't care one bit about my outside appearance and still was able to be gifted favors by this kind girl cuz they wouldn't let me go out. But also somebody with apathy may not either.

This is a residential hospital not an acute unit, so we have to be functioning to a certain level. Everyone gets dressed and have to do their own laundry. You're not allowed to walk around in pyjamas or with messy hair. There is a rule that you have to keep your room de-cluttered and there are room checks to see if you keep your part of the deal. In the acute units you bet, I didn't brush my hair for two weeks, ugh! Hope you're doing well

You are very strong and brave. I have depression for 8 years and shy to tell about it. Also I live in Russia and people here thinks that it is a shame to have mental illness and a lot of people live with it and not go to doctor. I hope that in future it will change. And that I will recover

I was in a mental hospital for 4 months at first I was on a section 136 by police an got assessed and was told ti go onto a section 2 but I didn’t get better so I went onto a section 3 and eventually I got discharged but tried to attempt 3 times after and ran away multiple times, refused treatment for everything and I got put on a section 136 but this time didn’t require hospital admission again so they sent me home but I don’t want to be home so I might be getting out on a section 20 idk anymore

Am I the only one that thinks this looks nothing like a psych ward bc the one I went to we had no normal door handles and those towel racks with that much weight of 2 towels probably would have fallen like and thing that could be wrapped around was a big no no and y’all had doors for your bathroom the gave a curtain as a door , and those socks are supposed to have grip on both sides like it doesn’t mater what ward you go to you have grippy socks , but then again I went to a minor one that was for uh sewer side
@thebigscreentheory2 жыл бұрын
This is a residential hospital, not a psych ward :) It's lower level of care x Also in Norway you never get "grippy socks" even in high risk psych wards
