When I moved to Sweden in 2015 in July, the weather was awful and the first place I went swimming was Almanäs. It was freezing! The water was so cold it felt like I was drinking cold water each time my lips/chin touched the water. Today I usually swim near Kypegården, which is a much smaller lake so usually warmer. Öresjö is a huge long lake near Borås, the forests surrounding it are great for hikes.

They are! I love hiking there 🥰 I’ve done every trail around there! Lovely lake, haven’t swam there… yet 😂 it’s always so so cold I can’t imagine I will anytime soon haha! Thanks for watching, take care 🥰

I have an elk park near to me, The females are quite a lot smaller than the bulls. Just returned for a few days in Gotland, those people are obsessed with sheep but the weather was awesome.Also they have the best, sweetest strawberries you will ever taste. Hope you have a good midsommer.

It was very different compared to your previous videos. But I think the format works. It was a nice flow and it felt like I was going for a ride with you. Missed your laughter, though. Those plants are real and you've made some impressively circular holes in them with your hole punch! Stylish hand writing, as well. You're not going to pass a doctors final exam with that one.
@YAYGOME3 жыл бұрын
😂😂 sadly I don’t own a hole punch.. I had one but it got lost on the way to Sweden 🤷♀️ no idea where it went but I suppose rust now gives away the truth to the plant reality hehehe. So glad you enjoyed it!! I actually re did the voice overs a fair bit to cut out so much of my giggling. You know me, laughing is my default mode, but I felt like something chill while we all struggle and crawl to summer vacation might be cool. I think you’re right though, more laughter is good 😂👏 Thanks for the hand writing compliment! I’m glad my childhood years of learning to “write properly” paid off hehe! Thanks for watching, take care 🥰🥰

It was a nice calm video and I enjoyed the scenery. Your voice could be better balanced with the audio though; it was low compared to the music.

I actually saw a moose today, and in a non-threatening situation (ie I wasn't inches from hitting it with my car while doing 90 km/h, or seeing a shell-shocked moose that had just been hit by someone else's car), that is, it was just peacefully munching on some leaves when I passed it at a safe distance on my road bike. I'm a 48 year old native Swede, and this was basically a first for me! UNfortunately my camera acted up, so the video I thought I was shooting turned out to be just a still.
@YAYGOME3 жыл бұрын
Wow! Was it a huge male or a smaller female? I'm still waiting to see a male! Very happy to hear you didn't hit it with your car though! 😂 Shame the camera didn't work! thanks for watching, take care ☺️

@@YAYGOME I think it was a female, though it was pretty big. It could have been a bull that had shed its antlers, though it's a bit late in the season for that.
@YAYGOME3 жыл бұрын
@@rasmuswi 😱 They loose their antlers?? I didn’t even know that was a thing, are you joking? 😂😂
@rasmuswi3 жыл бұрын
@@YAYGOME actually, they loose their antlers every winter, typically in January-February, with young bulls sometimes doing it as late as April, and some old ones as early as November. In late spring or early summer they start growing them back again. While growing, they are actually covered by a velvety skin, which starts to come off toward the end of summer. By this time of the year, they can sometimes be seen rubbing their antlers against tree trunks to get rid of the skin. According to some sources, they eat the skin to regain some of the nutrients in it. English Wikipedia actually had some extra information that I'm not sure I wanted to know. If a bull moose is castrated (deliberately or inadvertently), it will immediately shed its antlers, and then grow a set of asymmetric and irregular-shaped antlers, called devil's antlers, which it will then keep for the rest of its life. That "deliberately or inadvertently" bit felt a bit like too much information...
@YAYGOME3 жыл бұрын
@@rasmuswi my goodness, I feel well and truly educated 😂 I had heard of the velvety skin but I thought that was just a young bull thing 👌 you learn something new everyday as they say!! 😂😂

Usually all my videos are just my canon but I liked the ease of grabbing some of the b roll with my iPhone 😳 4K and up to 60fps although I stick to 24fps for the more cinematic feel. But even the slow mo is actually just straight from the iPhone (slow mo mode 240fps).
